nope bhai. the consultants are different . Just spoke to stallion123. so that way we are safe. Also in my case the problem was most probably from the VO end as it looked like a typo error. but in Stallion123 case it was a problem with the server at his consultants end. SO 2 different issues but end result is a lot of heart burn for the applicants

It depends.....Expect it in 30/60/90 days from the time of ur last document submission..It can come earlier also (rarely)

Guys,

A question for the expert.

I got MR & RFRP email today. One thing that i wish to confirm that whether these emails are auto generated or manually sent by VO.

i had sent all my documents like marriage certificate, photos, educational docs, PCC etc in March when my name got added to my wife's file post marriage. now this email today, they have again asked for these documents. Though i have asked the consultant to check & advice, is there anyone who could throw some light on this whether i should simply revert with Medical reports stating that above documents was already sent when my name got added in March'15.

It's a manual mail sent as part of an automated batch ...The pdf letter has to be prepared manually depending on what docs are required from the Applicant and this varies from applicant to applicant...Say, if someone has submitted PCC with the initial application, he won't be asked for PCC again...

In ur case, you have requested to add ur name to wife's file post marriage in march only and now u have received requests for ur docs, which means the good news is that u have been added to ur wife's file..but it doesn't make sense that they'd ask u for all the docs again that u submitted since it should have been added to the file...

See what the Consultant advises but I think that when u revert with ur Med receipts and other docs, u can simply add a Cover Letter stating the remaining docs asked for were already sent by courier in March and quote the Courier Tracking No., Date of Delivery, person delivered to and if possible, attach the Proof of Delivery u might have obtained from the Courier Co....

My spouse is main applicant and we are filling up 'Generic Form' to add me as a dependent. Under the personal details for the dependent it is asked in the Question 2 "Have you ever used any other name (e.g.Nickname, maiden name,alias etc.)". I (dependent) changed my name to add surname. Now all of my educational documents show my first name but passport (as it was made after name change) shows the full name with surname.

Should we check 'Yes' in the question?
If yes, then do we need to write only given name in the place of 'given name' and leave the 'surname' space empty or write 'NA' in 'surname' place?
What to select in Question 12 "Dependent Type"?

Yes i had got the fee accepted email from Visa office that was sent along with other documents. will check with consultant but great help from you guys with your expert opinion.

Just booked the medical for coming Saturday. A question here: will the medical reports go to immigration department directly from the doctor or will be shared with us?

The reports will be uploaded by the Doctor to CIC directly if it's an E-medical facility....You will be provided (from the hospital) receipts and a Medical completion sheet...Though you are not required to, but it's always advisable to send to the VO a copy of the Medical receipts provided....

Hello All,

I got my passport back with Stamping.

Got into trouble. While opening the envelope provided by vfs delhi, mistakely the COPR form got bit tear away from right bottom corner.

Is it an issue? Shall i report this to NDVO and ask them to issue new COPR? or a small teared part form is fine ?

Hi parminder,

I'd normally not advise sending any additional document that VO has not asked for...However after seeing Ananjay's post, I think you can send in those 2 forms....it'd absolutely not have any adverse impact...rather it serves as a counter-check to the Forms for ur spouse that ur filling...Make sure all the info. tallies

Also prepare a Cover Letter neatly documenting that these are the Forms you are sending point-wise....

My honest thanks to all in this form , I joined this form when it was just 13 pages old n believe me without this form I couldn't have got my passport stamped.
