Got the Visa & CoPR yesterday !!!

I had sent two photo of each applicants with passport, however, one returned with the passport. Hope it is normal.

Hi All,

NEED AN URGENT RESPONSE as I got a situation here.

I was waiting for my MR after my interview got successful on 9th April 2015. I was waiting or MR till 21st May when I was shocked to hear that my MR was actually sent to consultant on 19th Apr, but due to some tech issues in their mailing server, they did not receive it and we both were unaware about the same. They only received it on 21st May and saw that the it was supposed to be reverted in 30 days (starting from 19th Apr -> 19th May) if not then it may lead to refusal in visa process.

I had immediately paid the RPRF fees on that very day and done medicals the very next day to avoid any further delays. But I am yet not sure if they shall accept it or not as the deadline had already passed 2 days back.

I am very scared for the fact that whether NDVO will accpt it or not?? Can anyone throw some light on the same what can be done in this scenario??

P.S. I also raised a CSE on 8th May for status update thinking that they have not sent MR.

But is it possible for me to get married after getting copr m just worried they may delay my landing or smthing like that. I heard somewhere that they can send me back even if I have landed . And will it be possible to add my spouse after copr?

That's true...If u get ur Visa and COPR, then get married before landing, you should ideally inform the VO immediately...otherwise if u land in Canada as a single applicant not having declared ur (now-) spouse, this is misrepresentation which can cause a serious problem down the road...I rembr reading such an experience where an applicant disclosed his changed circumstances only at the port of entry, was denied landing and had to turn back...

The correct sequence would be (in case ur marriage is further down the road) to get ur Visa, do ur landing then get married then apply for ur wife under family class- inland/ outland...

Or the other sequence would be inform the VO (in case ur marriage is upcoming shortly) in which case ur file would be put-on-hold until u get married, and send over the spouse docs so that both ur applications would be processed simultaneously so that both of u get ur PRs together...(And yes, you can add ur spouse even after getting ur COPR but in that case, the VO will instruct u not to land in Canada until ur spouse's PR visa is granted)

When u send ur Med receipts, ur RPRF receips and other docs, attach a polite cover letter advising what you have mentioned above and to please excuse the delay....Send an email/CSE informing them of the same as well....Rest it's their call but I think they'd be understanding for a 2-day delay...Try not to worry...U shud get ur 3rd line within a week after completing Meds if everything is ok (if it's an E-medical facility)...looking at it u can be assured that they accepted ur Meds....

And try to ensure that these 'mail server' issues with ur Consultant do not recur ...If u miss the PPR letter like this, you can imagine the consequences....

Does anybody know, What is the expiry date for PR visa? 1 year?

Normal Expiry of the Visa will be till the 1 year Completion of Medicals...
