Is there an expiry date for COPR?
I mean is there limited period available for first landing in Canada after getting PR visa (and COPR)?

The expiry date for COPR is same as your visa expiry date

Finally got MR email (May 19thbbut just seen yesterday) after waiting exactly 6 months from PER. I went for medical today and found out that my panel physician is assigned for eMedical, which means doctor will send medical result via online (after 4 working days). Now, do I need to send thing to visa office as confirmation that I have done medical or eMedical doesn't require anything???? Please advise...

My timeline:
NOC: 1123
App filed: 24th July
PER: 19th Nov
2nd Line: 10th App
Medical Req: 19th may
Medical done: 24th May

I don't have access to laptop for few days so kindly update on ss

If you ask me, Send the acknowledgement of completion of medicals to NDVO.

Yes it is fine, but if it's in another currency better bring a reliable source for the exchange rate, and have some cushion in case of fluctuation.

Hey hey!

I received my PPR a few days ago. My visa office is NDVO and I'm working outside of India.

I've raised the CSE, but I just found out that one of my friends is travelling to New Delhi from my city. Can I send my passport with him to New Delhi and get it submitted for stamping? He should also be able to bring it back. Is that safe and legal?

Also, how long does it take to receive passport and COPR after submitting it at NDVO?

Thanks!

Hi Dublin0705

As per Indian laws only the person holding the passport can take the passport out of a country. I am also in the same boat as you. I received email from NDVO to supply the passports however I am out of India and not traveling back anytime soon. I have sent CSE to NDVO and awaiting response. It would also be a good idea to send email to the Canadian embassy in the country where you are right now. I remember reading in this forum, that someone did the same and he got a response asking for the passport. I am planning to do the same today.
Please update here if you get any response from NDVO on your CSE.

Thanks

Hey, thanks for your response.

The thing is that i live in Dublin, Ireland and the Canadian embassy in Dublin doesn't do anything related to visas. All the immigration related matters of Irish residents are dealt but the London visa office. Thus, I'll have the same issue with London visa office, as it's another country again, and will not be able to leave the UK until I get back my passport.

Also, I read that it is illegal to 'post' Indian passport overseas, however it is legal for the passport to be carried overseas by a person authorised by the holder of the passport. That's what I wanted to clarify about.

Any advice?

Seniors
I have a doubt in my mind regarding RPRF fees receipt.
I sent my documents last month to NDVO after getting my medicals done.I paid my RPRF fees through my dad's credit card and received the receipt in my mail.It was mentioned on that receipt to send it along with the cover letter and the documents and to kept one copy with me.And it is also mentioned that its not necessary that the name on the receipt should match with the applicant.
The mistake I did is that I have not written any details on the receipt (like DOB,UCI No,Address, phone no etc).My last date to send the documents was 17 May 2015.
Can it be a problem?
Although I got my third line updated that the medicals have been received.

Pls advice

First of all, third line nothing to do with medical receipts,it will be updated when hospital is e-enabled.

Though I feel, missing your information on RPRF is okay, because you sent that already, if you still doubt, just write the information on another copy and send it with covering letter along. You can also raise cse and send it as attachment.
