You need to send only printed pages...

I think there is some misunderstanding here, the MR email clearly mentions the following,

"-Please send a copy of all pages of the valid passport(s) for yourself and your accompanying family members by mail".

All pages means all pages, does not mean anything else.

They actually want to verify if you really have 2 blank pages to stamp the visa.

I am September 2014 applicant.

I received the following message from PVO in response to my CSE.

''Please be advised that your application has been reviewed by an officer and is currently in the queue for correspondence and medical examination instructions to be sent to you.'' I received this email on the 14th of May 2015 and nothing came out until now.

What does it mean when they say '' currently in the queue..''

Please share your advice.

It means you are being processed as normal and just wait until they contact you.

"Passport Request Letter" Mail received, but 4th Line not updated yet.. Should I be worried??

Hi Guys,

So I have received this email requesting for my Passport to be submitted to NDVO, but the Fourth Line has not yet been updated on my Application page. Is this normal procedure?

Is the passport requested only for the Stamping or could there be some other reasons too (something that i should worry about). Please advise.

Also, how many days would I be without my passport for? I might have an upcoming office visit to China lined up for Mid June, should I give my office a heads-up about my possible unavailability (since I might be without Passport for some days)

I didn't get my 4th line update until I had already sent my passports and a VO called me to ask me a question and indicated they were about to send them back. So don't worry.

Hello All,

I am travelling to Canada next week and i am planning to bring 3000$ in cash and around same amount in travellers check. Is it fine or do i need to bring all in cash ?

Bring as much as you want in whatever form you want, but if you bring more than $10K or its equivalent you must declare it to customs.

Hi Friends

Could you please guide me what to write under question number 12 (Dependent Type) under dependent section (for spouse) in 'Generic Form'?

your help would be really appreciated.

Regards

What are the things require to submit after ppr mail???

PlZ guide.

They will vary from VO to VO and person to person. For some it is PPs only. For others there are other requirements. Follow the directions on your PPR letter.

Hi guys,,

Need ur views on something:
My 3rd line updated on 28th apr n m patiently waitin for PPR..

M plannin to get married n add my would-be-wife as accompanying dependant..

The reason m plannin to get married before i get PPR is coz I ve recently found out times for spouse sponsorship is min of 20months (both inland n outland apps)..

Now my ques is how much delay can i expect with this change n once i raise CSE with NDVO in how much time can i expect them to contact me n ask for updated docs..

Appreciate ur replies.. Thanx..

Phew! Seems like I have done mistake asking them to add spouse.
I have replied them to don't put my processing on hold. I will share my spouse documents In case I got married.
Will it be good to mail them again saying my marriage date is uncertain. So please process my file as an individual. Don't wait for my spouse document as marriage can be delayed to one year or so.

You need to make a decision one way or another about when you're going to get married, stick to that decision, and act accordingly. It is foolish to inform the VO about something that "might" happen. They can't act on "might."

I tried to get extension for submitting PCC but the WVO mailbox was full and my email couldnt get delivered. You can try sending email and if u r lucky they may reply you back. But my suggestion is try to get your PCC ASAP and submit it within a given time period

Instead of e-mailing them, raise a CSE.

Hi,

I need some advice.

To prove the funds at the time of landing, can we show the bank statements of HSBC? its HSBC in my country, not the Canadian account where I can use ATM to withdraw money.

Will that be enough? I will carry some money in hand. But not up to the limit specified in FSWP.

:) :) :)

Yes it is fine, but if it's in another currency better bring a reliable source for the exchange rate, and have some cushion in case of fluctuation.

Hai,

I don't think you can show the bank statement as POF during landing. The POF while landing should be a source of fund which can be easily convertible. The reason behind POF is that during your stay in Canada, you should not struggle for one year even if you don't get job (Please take it literally). So for single person the fund should be which you have shown during application.

But if it's easily convertible it's no problem. Especially HSBC, there are HSBC branches in Canada and you could go to one and withdraw from your foreign HSBC account if you want. Might incur some fees though.

Hi All,

What if dependent applicant is not willing to go for Medical? What impact it will have on file? He/she doesn't want to go along with primary applicant...what can be done in that case?

Please help and advise

Thanks!!

Is the dependant accompanying or not? If not you can explain this to the VO and hope they will process you anyway, but I wouldn't be optimistic. If the dependant is accompanying there is no chance you can be processed without their medical.

Is this a spouse? If your spouse refuses to join you and is so unsupportive you may need to choose between Canada and your spouse.

Enough time to submit all the updated documents and for the VO to do the same processes for her as they did for you. Probably a few months. Certainly less than 20 months.
