I happy to inform that I got PPR today @ 12.20 PM SGT. Decision made is yet to appear in ECAS.
Below are my timelines. Thanks to everyone for making this one as wonderful journey.

App Sent: 09-Sep-14
App Received at CIO: 15-Sep-14
Cost Recovery (CC): 30-Nov-14
PER: 14-Dec-14
Second Line Update: 15-Feb-15 (Processing Started on 12-Feb-15)
MR, PCC & RPRF Request: 13-Mar-15
Medical Done: 17-Mar-15
Medical Results Uploaded: 21-Mar-15
Third Line Update: 25-Mar-15
Decision Made: Yet to Appear
PPR Request: 22-May-15

Total Time 8 months 7 days.

Note: During submission of PCC I requested for visa stamping at Singapore VO but they ask me to submit in NDVO. I confirmed with VFS Singapore that I can submit in SG itself.

Many thanks to everyone on this forum. I've been more of a laid back, more silent reader.

However, now I have a big issue. I'm currently outside of India, and my passport needs to be submitted in New Delhi. I'm aware that the passport can be stamped in the current country of residence, if requested.

Could you someone PLEASE tell me the procedure to do so? Whom/how do I contact in NDVO for this purpose?

I really badly need help with this, as I'm running out of time.

If you have undergone police verification during your passport issuing process then you will get PCC within 3 hours at PSK in punjab. If police verification was not done then it depends on the verification process timeline of punjab police.

Got my visa and COPR just now. PP submitted on 14th May.

I got sms around 10 pm yesterday that my visa has been dispatched. Got it now. Bluedart service is too good.

Feeling so happy to have PR in my hand. Thanks god and all forums members.

Next challenge is to settle and find jobs. God bless.

I (PA) am planning to land first in Canada and my dependents will join me later. So my questions are

1) Do I need to carry all Settlement fund?

2) If yes then in which form (Cash or travel card)? And How to show same thing for dependents as they will be joining me later.

3) If no then how much fund is mandatory to carry?

So what did the VFS Singapore tell you, will your visa be stamped by the Canadian Embassy in Singapore or will VFS Singapore send your passport to NDVO to be stamped and will return to you in Singapore?

I am also in a similar situation, I am out of India and NDVO has asked for my passport, so I am asking.

I am also in the similar situation. NDVO will take 30 days to answer CSE and we have only 30 days to submit the Passport....Is it wise to raise CSE and wait for NDVO response?
