According to me if you had your medicals done before expecting then it would have been fine,it was not neccessary for you to inform because this will only delay the visa because i think they will not gonna issue visa unless you have your baby born and have her/his passport made stamped and then you land.
It only delays will not have any other concern on your application but the visa will be on hold till the birth of your child you cant say them like you prepare your food here and gonna eat it in canada,hope you underastand.Anyways congrats for your baby and your visa

Yes, we have done the medicals in March and just yesterday we came to know that my wife is expecting.
But there will be almost 8-9 months for a delivery.
So, will they hold the visa till then.

Also, I didn't understand what you want to say through this sentence "we will get a reply in 28 days for any query you know what i mean, i think you did understand what i mean to say"

What is in your case coolguy31. have they delayed the process or its as per timelines.

If not bank transfer it would be DD OR TRAVELLERS CHEQUE OR TRAVEL CARD

Very few people have landed with Travel card .

Travellers cheque has lot of hassles for e.g you want 14k and the vendor willhave max 500 denominations and you 20 plus and on these 20 plus you need to sign each separetly .Many banks have stopped giving this .Only Thomas cook can give you I guess


DD takes time to clear plus these days high volume drafts face hassles .I am not sure if every bank can give high volume DD check with bank

10K in forex card along with printout of bank statement showing 10K CAD + 4K cash will be fine as POF at immigration?

In most of the cases almost all i know they hold the file till the birth of the child,but again its upto the discretion of the vo what he thinks,but if you know just recently why you have informed this early,as far to my sense it was not necessary as yours already third line updated and in ppr queue,you should have got ppr by this month last week or june first week anyways.

Please guide me in the next steps. Do I have to fill up some application in VFS and is there any other charges to be paid to CIC ?
If I opt for the VFS route how much do I have to pay for passport submission ?

Now onlything you can do is wait for the reply from vo,donot send any unneccessary queries which might delay your process.They might issue you ppr as it is early pregnency.

Guys its my time to share some good news

IT's 4th line update

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 4, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on March 10, 2015.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


My PPR mail will go to my CANADIAN Attorney and hopefully he already received it and will forward me the Golden PPR mail tonight.

Just came to office, opened my gmail.. and it is Passport Request!! I think with mine, PPR count is 6 today.

I checked ECAS status at 3:00 IST, it was in process.. Checked again, after PPR mail.. It has been changed to "Decision made"

My PCC is gonna get expired on June 2nd I'm currently waiting for my ppr is it ok if I apply for the pcc before they ask and submit to the embassy.
My another question is from the age of 18 I've lived in two different states so I need to submit the pcc for both the state's
