Actually I m waiting for PPR. I applied in Aug 2014 and got TLU on 7th April 2015.

Now My wife is expecting. I have sent email to Embassy informing that she is expecting now & provide us the visa soon by sending PPR.

So, can this delay the process or there will be an issue.

Yup lets stay motivated. My case is complicated and the issue was with a PCC which i could not get as it is next to impossible to get the same from Vietnam. I sent in an explanation to them which i got via a rep who visited the VN embassy. They cross verified this explanation with the VN embassy and rejected it on the grounds that the VN embassy had not told me anything like this. Now the problem was this email from the VO got returned undelivered twice (5 Dec & 10 Feb) and finally reached my consultant on 27 April. So already things got delayed for 4 months for no fault of mine. This time i myself went to VN embassy and got countersigned letters stating that they cannot help and submitted all emails and this letter to the VO on 5/6 May. Now lets see what happens. Hoping for a waiver and PPR soon.

congrats mate. dont worry , you will soon get your PPR. What i have heard is that they prefer child birth happening in Canada as it leads to less paperwork here. Again this is hearsay but still hope for the best.

Just came to office, opened my gmail.. and it is Passport Request!! I think with mine, PPR count is 6 today.

I checked ECAS status at 3:00 IST, it was in process.. Checked again, after PPR mail.. It has been changed to "Decision made"

IT's 4th line update

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 4, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on March 10, 2015.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


My PPR mail will go to my CANADIAN Attorney and hopefully he already received it and will forward me the Golden PPR mail tonight.

By Gods Grace we have been granted PPR.

Please guide me in the next steps. Do I have to fill up some application in VFS and is there any other charges to be paid to CIC ?
If I opt for the VFS route how much do I have to pay for passport submission ?
