Excuse me for my curiosity. Why did you do three medical exams? I see a big time gap between ME on December 13th and March 20th. Why was that?

Bcos of Sputum Test (for possible TB)...3 samples need to be taken....hence 3 months...

Have you submitted your PCC along with your Application or Medicals?

They Noticed a Scar in Chest XRay and so had to go thru Sputum Test and Repeat XRay after 90days and Sputum Test results were Negative but Repeat XRay showed Growth in Scar and hence had to go CT Contrast Scan and CT Scan showed TB Lesions are found and had to go thru Bronchoscopy and in Bronchoscopy all 4 Results were Negative and so we got the Clearance from Pulmonologist and Panel Physician as “No Evidence of Active Tuberculosis” and Finally Uploaded the Final Reults on 9th May.

Nopes that's illegal :)

https://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/FAQView.aspx?Id=53

You can carry only upto USD 3000 in FCY Notes/ coins....

And there's another worrisome rule-

"For private visits abroad, other than to Nepal and Bhutan, viz., for tourism purposes, etc., any resident can obtain foreign exchange up to an aggregate amount of USD 10,000, from an Authorised Dealer, in any one financial year, on self-declaration basis, irrespective of the number of visits undertaken during the year. This limit of USD 10,000 or its equivalent per financial year for private visits can also be availed of by a person who is availing of foreign exchange for travel abroad for any purposes, such as, for employment or immigration or studies."

Dear Arskcan,

I think person going for emigration.. one who is leaving the country can take 100,000 usd worth.. in the same above rbi link.. pls see point no 10.

. 10. How much foreign exchange is available to a person going abroad on emigration?
Ans. A person going abroad on emigration can draw foreign exchange from AD Category I bank and AD Category II up to the amount prescribed by the country of emigration or USD 100,000. He can draw foreign exchange up to USD 100,000 on self- declaration basis from an Authorised Dealer in India This amount is only to meet the incidental expenses in the country of emigration. No amount of foreign exchange can be remitted outside India to become eligible or for earning points or credits for immigration. All such remittances require prior permission of the Reserve Bank. If requirement exceeds USD 100,000, the person requires to obtain the prior approval from the Reserve Bank.

Thanks

Yes Saurabh, we discussed this....stayblessed posted that same pt. No. 10...:)...For us pt. 10 will be applicable...

Friends,
Wanted to share my experience about obtaining UAE PCC. I am a Dubai visa holder and applied PCC in abu dhabi, they accept such application with no additional document. I had to visit any of the police stations before 1 o'clock and it took 10 minutes of waiting and 5 min at the counter. documents required were a copy of visa, passport and EID. They charge fees of 56 AED only by credit/debit cards. The certificate is available next day. At the time of collection, we are required pay Additional 100 AED as we need it in English.

It is quick, easy, does not require any additional document and the best thing is resident of any emirate can apply in any of the emirates.

sorry i didnt saw stayblessed update on same.. from your point i directly came to this page .. so we can carry 100,000usd worth cash. BUT. ONE catch is there, somebody has also told me that exchanger will not give more than forex worth of inr 50,000. so how to obtain more forex lets say 30000-40000 CAD legally. if above is correct ?
