Thank you so much for this detailed information. I was not aware of any of these forms or what should we mention as he did everything in my case. However I sorted out my payment issue as I don't want any kind of problem at this stage. Hopefully everything will go smoothly now. Thanks again :)

Congrats!!!

It is good move!!!

Dear All,

I have few queries.. although it is too early as my DM is not updated on eCAS.

1. How much cash (in USD terms) i/individual can carry and pass through customs from Indian emigration. Do we need to declare something while leaving. I have got info for opening bank account in scotia bank from India itself . But my query is specific for info required for carrying cash.

2. If we are having some jewelry to bring to Canada, can we declare at Canadian immigration by showing pics etc and can bring it later on 2nd visit to Canada, or it would be required to come on my 1st landing to Canada only. Secondly same as cash how much jewelry/gold can we carry before passing through Indian emigration and customs?

3. can anyone help me giving schedule of CIIP sessions for August and September month of this year.

Pls help me advising on above queries.. tks..

Thanks.

Got 3rd updated on Nov 21st, 2014. Completed newborn child's medical check on March 23rd, FBI PCC submitted on March 27th, still now have not received any PPR nor 4th line in ECASE. Anxiously waiting...Do not know where the SGVO is on my application. Is anybody's case similar to me ?

Congrats buddy.

How did you submit your request the Canada High Commission for passport submission changed to Abu Dhabi VO?? Because Im in Muscat and I would like to know whether there is an option to submit my pp in Abu Dhabi itself.

HI guys

WVO asked me to submit the Police Clearance certificates till 10th June. I have to obtain PCC from China which i am assuming to be ready by 30th May. My friend is China is getting the PCC for me.

My question is - Can my friend directly send the PCC to WVO (mentioning my name, DOB and UCI on the envelope) instead of sending to me? I will send my indian police clearance by myself. Please let me know if this is possible?

I am asking this coz this way I can save time.

Hi,

My wife is primary applicant and we have mentioned in the application that dependants will be accompanying PA. Same is mentioned in COPR as well. I would like to know, if PA alone wants to travel first, do we need to inform anyone prior to landing ?

Thanks
Arun

Congrats SVB.. All the best for your future in Canada !!

Is it possible to share your format of email request for change of VO to Abudhabi.. It would really help..!! Thanks

I think this shouldnt be a problem

But make sure he writes the file number followed by your mailing address as mentioned by your application.
Also i would advice you to ask your friend to send you a scanned copy of the same so that you can also keep a copy.
