Hi friends,
I used services of Abhinav consulting and have received PPR on 14 May 2015.

Could someone from Bangalore who submitted passport to VFS Bangalore let me know how many days would it take if I submit my passport to VFS Bangalore for visa stamping?

The alternative for me is to give my passport to Abhinav Bangalore who would in turn send it to their Delhi office, from there to the high commission, receive it and send back to Bangalore Abhinav. I am concerned the turn around time will be too long.

Which one is preferable?

Thanks and regards,
Kishcanada

VFS would be preferred means for me... Also the turn around time at NDVO can be different from case to case.

Dear Mates ,

My Time line : application recd on : 14-05-2014
PER on : 03-09-2014
SLU : 27-10-2014
No MR.

I have recd a CSE reply from NDVO today. Experts kindly comment :-

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Under Canada’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

Delays in the processing of visa applications are always disappointing to all concerned, but rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient and expeditious processing of all visa applications.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

I don't want to discourage u...but a Forum Senior 'Oscar7' had said long back that '0 NOCs are almost always subjected to a higher level of scrutiny...these ppl are supposed to be amongst the most senior Senior to V. Senior level-ppl in Companies...for ex. for ur NOC 0113 this page->

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=0113

lists the possible titles like Supply Management Director, Contract manager; Director, procurement operations.....Hence it's vey likely that the Officer scrutinising ur application together with the Salary level u have mentioned may have decided that ur Work-Experience needs extra scrutiny, like a Detailed Background Check incl. physical verification...If docs provided are genuine, u shud clear this Background Check smoothly and u shud not worry abt it...But yes, it will take time and require lots of patience...Even in cases of doubt, NDVO will issue an Interview Call, or issue an Inquiry Letter asking for explanation..so don't stress out thinking of these things...

also, only 70 days have elapsed from ur SLU...this is still a relatively short time-frame...some ppl are now waiting for MR for 6-7 months....So hang in there buddy :)...This process is all abt Patience...if it's delayed now, once u get MR, ur file would move very fast...wish u a speedy MR!! :)
thanks dear...I m relaxed now...was getting tensed as many were getting MR...thanks once again

Hi kishcanada,

if you are waiting on your VISA to fly at earliest, then VFS makes sense. Otherwise, you can submit it to Abhinav, it will save you 600+ money and most importantly, they will cross-check your photo & forms before sending. After all they are in this business from several years. And yes, I opted to submit it through Abhinav.
BTW, Which is your destination city? I am also in Bangalore, did processed application with Abhinav and NOC 2171 :)

Please Help Me Urgently....

To all who just refreshing the email to have PPR.

From the starting of this week and i'm doing nothing just refreshing my email every 5 minutes.
Today i was very busy since morning, i come back to my office to find a notification on my phone device. i slide to see the notification, it was from my visa office.
I checked my Gmail and it was the PPR.
So stop refreshing the email and enjoy your time at your home land because you will be travelling soon to the new land, and remember one thing" If God says yes, no one can say no. "

Good luck for all of you.

Good advice. :D Thank you & congratulations!!!

Hi Friends,

I received MR for my new born today (new born's docs submitted 1 month back). In that NDVO has asked for this:

"Please provide official receipt of processing fee paid for the child"

What do they mean by this? I have already submitted an updated "IMM5620E-Fee Payment Form Application for Permanent Residence" for payment of $150 CAD (for my child's addition to the application) to be deducted from my credit card. They haven't charged me though yet.

Please guide me what does NDVO means by this.

If is recommended to submit the passports at VFS Canada Counter at the VFS office Near to Shivaji Nagar Bangalore.

Also the turn around time will always defer from case to case and also depends on the Visa Officer.

Hi MK,

Please dont worry, same thing happened to me when I put my credit card details they did not charge me saying we dont charge from VISA credit card and asked me to pay online by providing fee pay link similar to RPRF. But there is no option for FSWP bt for express entry but I paid under Prvencial Nominee for child under 19 and they accpeted the same and sent to me the payment receipt today.
Please follow below procedure:

HOW TO ADD YOUR CHILD (REN) TO YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENT APPLICATION: In order to add your child (ren) to your application for Permanent Residence, the following documents must be provided (in addition to the control documents indicated above):

· Processing fees for your child (ren) if he/she will be accompanying yourself to Canada

· Four (4) recent passport-size photos (photos must conform to the specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM3999 and Appendix B Photo Specifications)

· A Quebec Selection Certificate for your spouse. For more information, please consult the following link: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html

HOW TO PAY THE PROCESSING FEES ONLINE FOR YOUR CHILD:

· In order to expedite processing, we recommend paying directly online using the link below, and then providing the receipt to our office electronically.

· We therefore encourage you to pay the Processing Fees as soon as possible, by following these steps:

1. Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

2. Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

3. Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Provincial Nominee” under the Application fees list (as Federal Skilled Worker is not listed as a category).

4. You must pay this fee for your accompanying spouse.

5. Enter the number of fee payments (1 ) in the box beside the fee of $150;

6. Click “Submit”;

7. Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card.

8. Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.

Thanks
Amit
