Hi,

On my email query to CVO...they instructed me to pay the fee using the same link that was shared for RPRF..!!
Also I have read one post in some other thread where there was a specific reply on a CSE raised.

Below is the procedure.

Go to https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/disclaimer.do
Accept terms & on the next page click on "Immigration".
Put 1 against "Family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19 due to a physical or mental condition" and proceed for payment.

I have done the same yesterday and have got MR today for my son..!! ATB.. :)

Hi Krish,

Even I have paid 2 days back like this under Immigration---> Provencial Nominee--->Family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19 due to a physical or mental condition--->$150

this has been suggested by one of our applicant who applied from US and CPC-O suggested that like below:

HOW TO ADD YOUR CHILD (REN) TO YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENT APPLICATION: In order to add your child (ren) to your application for Permanent Residence, the following documents must be provided (in addition to the control documents indicated above):

· Processing fees for your child (ren) if he/she will be accompanying yourself to Canada

· Four (4) recent passport-size photos (photos must conform to the specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM3999 and Appendix B Photo Specifications)

· A Quebec Selection Certificate for your spouse. For more information, please consult the following link: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html

HOW TO PAY THE PROCESSING FEES ONLINE FOR YOUR CHILD:

· In order to expedite processing, we recommend paying directly online using the link below, and then providing the receipt to our office electronically.

· We therefore encourage you to pay the Processing Fees as soon as possible, by following these steps:

1. Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

2. Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

3. Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Provincial Nominee” under the Application fees list (as Federal Skilled Worker is not listed as a category).

4. You must pay this fee for your accompanying spouse.

5. Enter the number of fee payments (1 ) in the box beside the fee of $150;

6. Click “Submit”;

7. Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card.

8. Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.

I think this should work as I am in UK and it will take long time if I send it via DD as it takes a week to get DD from UK bank and 1 more week to receive them.

Thanks
Amit

Yes you can, all you have to do is to declare that you can carrying more than $ 10000 CAD

I've been told that you need to carry a receipt of transaction from the forex provider if not they immigration authority can take away that money from you.
And also you are supposed to declare any kind of foreign currency on you. This is the information that I have just received , if anyone has better know how please do share

Why are you carrying cash isn't Scotia bank start right program better? You straight away get one year banking ,credit card and a locker.

Although I do not wish to transfer the entire settlement fund because interest rates are pretty low in Canadian banks and also you pay currency exchange rates. Is there anyway one can show Indian Fixed Deposits as settlement funds?

To all who just refreshing the email to have PPR.

From the starting of this week and i'm doing nothing just refreshing my email every 5 minutes.
Today i was very busy since morning, i come back to my office to find a notification on my phone device. i slide to see the notification, it was from my visa office.
I checked my Gmail and it was the PPR.
So stop refreshing the email and enjoy your time at your home land because you will be travelling soon to the new land, and remember one thing" If God says yes, no one can say no. "

Good luck for all of you.

Congrats yoleik!! :) did Bucharest ask for passport bio-data page first? if yes, when did they ask for it?

Many reasons actually...:)..Some ppl move for a short landing, come back to get their affairs in order then travel permanently sometime in future...So bank a/c should not be opened right away but only when u move permanently..

Some ppl in Canada have advised me that for Toronto region especially, better to open TD Bank a/c rather than Scotia Bank A/c...reason- I'm also not clear :)...This program is only for Scotia Bank...

And for bass's case, not clear which part of Canada they will settle in- from what I understand for the ScotiaBank Program, u will need to select a specific branch in Canada while applying from India...after landing u will need to go to that branch to activate the account...so if ur unsure of ur place of stay, best not to open from here...

Hence the need for alternatives...

And yes, one person did show Indian FDs while landing...but that is highly risky..not advisable...
