Hello Everyone,

I am a silent member of this group. My Timeline is

App: 12th Aug
PER: 2nd Dec
MR: 14th March
3rd line: 7th April
PPR:??

When can I expect a PPR. People with 3rd line update later than me have got the PPR.

Can there be any issue as I have been to Canada for 2 years from 2010 to 2012..

Pls tell me when I will get the PPR..

Regards.

Harry! nothing to worry about ..you are right.. as you must have submitted 2 PCC's (Indian and canadian) so your next step will take a bit more time then others ..your file is under criminality and security checks and that too for 2 countries..so that will take time

I would suggest please keep patience for next 25-35 days before you receive your PPR

Guys,

I have a question for a friend...

She's an October applicant...she sent her processing fees along with the application via certified cheque...she received PER in January and AOR in Feb; her VO is Paris.

Today, she received an e-mail stating that "the processing fees are still not paid. Please make the payment in order to start the processing of your application."

Has anyone faced such a situation? What can be the reason? Should she make the payment again, or contact them?

Hi Friends,

I got my passports stamped with visa today... Cant believe it! It has been a long tough journey. I am happy that I passed through it... Thanks friends for being with me all through this journey! :)

I have one doubt. On the COPR document, there is a text which says "Not Valid for travel"..What does it mean? That text is a bit disturbing...Please enlighten me with the reason behind it.

Congrats archana!!! :)

God will Bless You Soon. Don't worry. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

If previous payment had been encashed by CIC then ask your friend to send a copy of bank statement highlighting that transaction via CSE however its highly unlikely that CIC would charge payment twice. And if the payment is not charged yet obviously she would need to make payment again.

Dear nb

I have not submitted 2 PCC's as I have got request only for Indian PCC. So, I submitted only Indian PCC.

Therefore, I am really tensed why I am not getting reply from them..

Nothing to worry...Your right, there is only PCC that you had to submit. Canadian PCC is not needed.
Your PPR is around the corner..just wait for sometime. Good luck :)

Mate there is no logical way how NDVO works. Look at my timelines I did medicals in Nov and got my PPR yesterday so dont worry about it and just hang on. U completed your medicals so u r almost there. If you still want to be very sure then raise GCMS that would help u understanding whts holding your application, when is the next BFD.

All the best !!

Hey guys,

While many of us(including me) are waiting for PPR :), i wanted to know your opinion of sending the passport via bluedart Vs giving it to local VFS.
Just want to explore this option of bluedart, have people used it? and how is the passport delivered back to you if u send it to Delhi via bluedart( by speedpost or bluedart or something else). Also, do we have to send the passport to Delhi immigration section if we send it via bluedart directly?
Give your views.

Both are good options Riya, I believe ppl (including me) opt for VFS more coz its secure and also allow you to track status plus SMS alert. If you send via bluedart then VO would return it by Registered post. In any case we need to send passport to High Commission of Canada, New Delhi.

Dear friends,

PPR PPR PPR finally :) :P :P :P :)

My heartfelt thanks to Diplomatru, adisu01, nareshkannan and all the forum friends for their kind help and inputs.
Could not have kept my sanity during this long journey and frustrating wait if not for your encouragement, kind words and motivation.
Especially the wait of more than 5 months (156 days) from PER to MR request was frustrating.

All the very best to people who are waiting for PER, MR, PCC, SLU, TLU, DM and PPR.
Please be assured that you are in my prayers for speedy processing of your applications.
Hang in there and patience will see you sail through, make you successfully land in Canada, and find a brighter and successful life.

Thanks again friends. We'll party together in Canada.

App sent from India = 25th June 2014
App recd = 3rd July 2014
PER = 28th Oct 2014
2nd line = 17th March 2015
MR request = 2nd April 2015
MR done = 8th April 2015
Third line = 15th April 2015
PPR = 13 May 2015
DM = 14 May 2015

Now need to send passport for stamping to Bangalore VFS.
Plan to land in the next few months.

Best regards,
Kishcanada

Congratulations!!!!
