Hi Guys,

I got MR email and I need to send the copies of passports with which I need to enter Canada (condition specified in MR email).
My wife has not changed her last name marriage on passport AND both of us don't have each other's name written on the passport. I was thinking of NOT getting them changed now and travel on these passports.

So, the question is: would we need each other's names written on passports later for anything related to immigration?

Hi forumites,

Now that I have received PPR, I need your help with the below problem:

My daughters Passport is missing her last name and I want this to be corrected before I send out the passports for visa stamping. I can get it corrected by using the PSK Tatkal service. Now my question is will this affect the stamping or the whole process itself? Am I better off to send the old passports without taking the risk of getting a revised one?

Anybody who got PPR and have sent revised passports for stamping? Appreciate your response!!

Passport is just a travel document and not a proof of marriage. It is not necessary to have spouse's name endorsed on passports.

My husband and I too don't have each others names on passports and we got PPR request today.
