Hi Guys,

I have received MR for my new born baby for which I have sent docs on 18th April. Need advise as they refused to charge my credit card saying we don't use Visa credit card , and asking me to pay it online. Does anyone know how can I pay for additional dependent under FSW catagory?

Please suggest.

Thanks
Amit

I made a demand draft of rs 7400 equivalent to CAD 150 in favour of Canadian high commission payable at New Delhi. It was accepted and got receipt in mail from ndvo. I would recommend you the same. Just double check the equivalent amount in inr incase it's revised since March. Also, I did not see the option to pay CAD 150 for new born online, though I paid rprf online.

Hope this helps.

How much money one need to carry on his or her first landing?

What else we need to show apart from passport and CoPR?

There is no rule regarding how much money you need to carry. You can carry as much or as less money as you want to carry but in case you are carrying more than 10,000 canadian dollars you must declare the same to the immigration officer at the time of landing.

Also, if carrying less money than the required amount suggested by CIC, please do not forget to carry the pof for the remainder amount as the same might be requested at the time of landing.

all the best friends for today.....lets pray for each other's success....

Only NDVO handles immigration applications in India so yes you will have to send your Passport to NDVO and the case will not be referred to local consulate.

A lot of applicants who completed their medicals in March-April are waiting for PPR request and NDVO does not follow any particular pattern while issuing PPR request so there is no telling how long will it take. It can take as less as 15 days to as many as 90 days to receive PPR.

today marks one year of my application still waiting for PPR..

wish to get good news soon
