I am September applicant. PER received on 6th January 2014 then after no communication.
ECAS still says In Process ( we received Your application on....)
I sent cse more than two times no response.

I am worried ....stressed ...and ....

Advice me what to do???

Yesterday received a call from Canadian High Commission, New Delhi. The officer enquired about each aspect of my application, including my and wife's education, work, background, travel, PCC etc.. He also enquired about our kids, confimed that they are twins.

In the end he informed me that I have done a mistake while filling Background verification form. I failed to provide last 10 year information there. He informed me to fill the form afresh for both myself and wife, sign it and send it over. He gave me 7 days to complete this. Also informed me that had I not done this mistake, he would have processed my application. After the call I received an email requesting for the newly filled forms. I sent the newly filled forms yesterday itself, it would reach them tomorrow.

Because of my silly mistake, our application processing would be delayed now. I enquired when I can expect the visa, he said, he cannot comment about it. He said, "We are giving you PR visa, not any ordinary visa, hence processing will take time when additional documents are added". He also said, visa will be valid till 26th March 2016 irrespective of when visa is isssued, so asked me not to worry about when I would get visa.

I am surprised that this mistake was not noticed before medical request. Fingers crossed, one more additional wait period for us.

Note to Worry Chill. You have got the good information to share with us that NDVO started processing the applications fast compared to the past.

Anxious as guys who applied with n medical done after me are landing already....did ndvo issue everyday or only on particular day

Got PPR email yesterday and today after submitting my PP at VFS I noticed it.

Yesterday its PPR for us....and today its DM and 4th line in ECAS....

Hi All....Got passport request mail..thanks to all the forum members for all the help.

But worries still not over...my spouse is expecting in next 6 months. V are having second thoughts on having the baby in canada, as I may get company transfer but that may take 4-5 months to process. So thinking to hav the baby in India. I did inform NDVO regarding pregnancy but given there is quite a bit time left in due date they have issued PPR.

Plz suggest wuld it b an issue if i mail them requesting to delay passport stamping so the baby can be added, and wat wuld b the process fr that.

Congratulations Buddy !!! Since you already sent an CSE. They will reply with further steps.

Today I got the Decision made status update, yesterday I have submitted my PP in Bangalore VFS. Thanks again to all and All the best !!!

Got our PPR mail today.
Timeline is as below:

Application sent on -8th August 2014
Application received on - 13th August 2014
Started Processing on- 12th Feb 2015
Medicals & PCC & RPRF requested on - 16th March 2015
Medicals & PCC & RPRF received on - 10th April 2015
PPR/ Decision made on - 12th May 2015


I wanted an advice on the job front here. We (me and my husband ) plan to leave India in the month of July, so wish to know when should we start applying for jobs. Is there any possibility in which we can start applying from today without having our Visa stamped? Awaiting for a meaningful revert.
