I have got my PER on 27th feb 2015. ECAS is showing "IN PROCESS" status. I am planning to get married soon and I want to include my spouse in the same application. I am thinking to do Court marriage soon to process spouse with my application...
What documents need to be submitted?
What is risk of rejection?
Do they ask for pictures of marriage functions to prove that marriage is genuine?

I have done the name change after the medical and sent the soft copy via CSE (Case specific enquiry). You won't get a reply from them and also it will delay the process for couple of days.

If you don't get a reply, then how do you know that they have actually updated their records?

Actually, my medical request email also states to send a copy of all pages of the valid passport(s) for yourself and your accompanying family members by mail, courier or e-mail to warsaw-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca and The passport should be the passport that you intend to use to enter Canada. So, I was thinking of just sending the soft copies of both the old and new passports and a letter stating the change.

Did your MR email also stated to send the copy of all pages of the valid passport(s) ?

Congrats in advance for your marriage...
You will have to provide copy of your spouse Birth Certificate, Passport, Marriage Certificate and all the forms that requires information about your spouse and spouse family. There is no chance of rejection until n unless you have required Proof of Funds required for 2....
If you are planning Court marriage, you can hire a photographer to take pictures. The same shall be submitted only n only if asked by the Visa Officer....

You are right Rahul.....Your case have been shifted to Warsaw.....There are many such cases....You might have got an AOR from Warsaw......
I suggest that you call CIC call center to reconfirm the same......they can advise where your file is.......
If the MR request is absent of PCC then you can send the proof of medicals by email.....else you have to send hard copies of the original PCC to Warsaw......
There is no harm in marking the mail to NDVO too.....

Hi Friends,

Before 6 months i suffered from alleric brochistis due to dust and had cold and cough... now it is cured... but there are no signs of tuberculosis....did several other tests too to rule out TB.. do i need to inform this during medicals ?

As of now 2 doctors said my xray is normal where as one of them said xray shows some injuries but tb cannot be suspected by that.

Please advice

Need help...I had submitted my PCC along with my app. But now in the RPRF mail, there is a request from them to send the PCC again with the comment "Police certificate(s) from India for yourself and must include your former name." My visa office is Warsaw.


After marriage, my full name got appended with my husband's name (after dropping the part that was my father's name). But the PCC issuing authority says the name will be only as per passport, and no other former names. Did any one have a similar problem...and how it got resolved.

Deep our timelines are quite similar except that I did my medicals on 29-04-2015. I received my PPR mail yesterday. You too shall receive it soon.

I got my visa and Copr letters today but the excitement was not as the day I got PPR as I knew when you get PPR its already has been decided that you have been granted visa .Its just a formality whatever still lot of things to complete .

For all those people who are waiting for PPR dont waste your time keep luking for tickets,start clearing your stuff back at home,proof of funds and booking accomodation.

Praise God!! Got my MR request along with the forms on May 9th evening. Received the mailer from the consultant this morning.
Super Super Happy. Planning to complete the MR this week

BTW - They have requested for Passport Copies + MR + RPRF only (no PCC - this may be because we submitted the PCC as part of the application)

Hi Friends, with all your guidance, timely help and blessings...We (Karunya vemulapalli and I) got the PPR today

I have following questions :

1. We submitted our PPs thru VFS (Hyd) today
QN : How many days NDVO takes for stamping and when can we get the passports in hand? minimum 10 working days from 12 for stamping and getting back

2. Funds in CAD to be taken
QN : We are planning to take CAD 5000/- in the form of cash to Canada and an amount of ~ INR 2 lakhs we will keep in India (Andhra Bank) and show the immigrant officer (if asked) the proof of funds we have here.
Is that alright or complete CAD 14500/- needs to be taken to Canada while landing? It's better to take complete CAD 14500 while landing. Please keep in mind that Indian Bank statements may not be accepted by the immigrations officer while landing

Ofcourse, if he/she lands in Toronto.. and later tries to move to Quebec.. will it be possible without any documents? If documents are required.. what are they?

About moving to quebec after landing and establishing permanent residency in Canada

One important thing to know is that Quebec has a special immigration process and has more control over the selection, landing, and settlement of immigrants to who to that province. So, in general, if you are not selected under the Quebec immigration process, it is easier to land elsewhere in Canada.

1. Canadian Permanent Residents have full mobility rights.

Guys!

Just received a mail from the London Visa Office (MCH), asking for the following in 30 days:
1. Police Clearance Certificates for self and spouse from UK and South Africa.
2. Updated family information chart along with the passport copies.

But the issue is we never traveled to UK and South Africa, I believe there must be error at the visa officer side. :-X

I got PPR mail without DM status on my ecas few days back.
I kept on checking ecas but it got collapsed since yesterday.Does it matter as I have already PPR email?
Moreover,my ecas now reads'we are unable to find.......

Since you already have received PPR. You shouldn't really worry now.
