Hi guys,

I'm in a strange situation here and I'd like for you to help me if possible.

I've been waiting for my MR for 3 months and now I've got accepted in a college in Toronto. One of the seniors advised me to do upfront medical, pay RPRF and send them to my VO together with my Letter of Acceptance and a letter explaining my situation.

Problem is... in my application, I've picked Beijing as my VO but I've got the AOR from Hong Kong VO (I heard HK starts the process and then sends it to Beijing). Beijing says it doesn't have my application. I've tried emailing HK and raising CSE with the college letter, but still no reply.

Any ideas on what to do:
- Should I do upfront medicals, pay RPRF and send all docs to Hong Kong?
- Should I apply for Student Visa in case things go south?
- Sit tight and wait for a miracle? :P
- Any other ideas?

I appreciate your help. Thanks and good luck to us all!

Any July Bucharest applicant completed his/ her medical and didn't got email for passport copies yet.
kindly advise.

Hi Everyone,

Got my medical today. I have few questions though.

1. HOW TO PAY

I have got this link in the mail on how to pay. And it says to pay through MYCIC account. I do not have any account (neither sign in partner nor GCKey). How to pay the fees, if anyone can let me know the steps that would be great.

2. After PCC completion, how and where to send to PCC documents as well as the other documents requested?

Regards,
Swapan

why do we need authorization letter for the dependents when the PA is the only source of communication by VO?

VFS is a Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC). They do not have your application information. How will they know and verify that you are the Primary Applicant and also they do not process Immigration Visa. They just provide Passport Transmission services.

BTW i did pose the same question that you asked and they simply said how can we trust your word. We would need authorization letter so that later, there wont be claims of fraud over their head even if we share the same family name

I know the answer was absurd

They Asked for the Authorization letter for a friend of mine who accompanied me for passport submission along with his own. He just went out, wrote a authorization letter and signed himself as his wife. Submitted his passports

- Apply for Student Visa definitely..It'd give u peace of mind...

- I'd recommend doing Upfront Meds but not sending any docs to HKVO before they request u....Ur docs may take time to be linked up with ur file and it may even result in a pushing back of the Due Date/ and in some rare cases docs might get misplaced also....Don't send any docs beforehand...RPRF Payment in any case takes minutes.....Keep in mind, by doing Upfront Meds, ur Visa wud be valid only till the Meds done date (i.e. when the Hopital uploads the docs to the VO) so it mite reduce ur time for landing but that shud not be an issue since ur already going to college :)...Which college and which course btw? :)

Need input from seniors, please.

I went through my medicals on 16th April at the eclinic, requested for an additional test for my son which was done and cleared on 6th May. In the meantime, i also informed CIC about birth of a baby boy and i am yet to provide them with a passport/birth certificate copy as its under process.

Nothing is reflected in my ECAS status regarding the medicals, i have paid the RPRF as well.
So, what can be expected? Any approx idea regarding the time for PPR ?

this is ridiculous... if the dependent is a child, how is he/she supposed to give authorization letter? do u have a format for this letter btw?
