Dear Friends,
I have received my passport with Visa and COPR yesterday from VFS. NDVO just took 3 (working) days for stamping. My passport was ready for collection on 6th May.

29th Apr - PPR Received,
30th Apr - Passport submitted,
1 May Friday (Labour day) - VFS was off, but got SMS and Email alert " We would like to inform you that your application has been processed in our office on 30 Apr 2015"
6 May - "Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office and ready for collection New Delhi, on 06/05/2015"
8 May - Received Passport with COPR.
Visa Issues Date - 27th April (Printed on Visa)
Validity - 18 March 2015 (Medical was done on 17th March.)

And received PPR email, now preparing the docs to send out and getting stamped.......

still forwarded mail to VO and further verification needed....
wht does that mean
its been almost a year and more thn 6 mnths for 2nd line which was updated and still they hadn't completed verification
feeling realllly damn frustrated....

Don't know what ndvo is doing...
My gcms says criminality not started
Medical not started
Security not started
Eligibility passed...
Don't know....
Additional documents (requested) sent in nov but ndvo says not received..
I have already sent pod

In feb i resend additional documents (as requested) again with pod...after that no update,no response from ndvo....

Just wanted to say my ECAS was showing DM this morning 09 May 2015. I went out this morning for breakfast and when I got back home, my COPR had been delivered!!!!!!!!!.
I am hoping to Land in Vancouver around August this year.

I am so glad to have the COPR in my hand now Smiley, and after 309 days since my application was received at CIC, I am now looking forward to Landing!.

My thanks to all forum members for their guidance and their time helping others, which I have also found to be valuable in this whole process. A lot of patience is needed and it's a big waiting game between stages. Good luck to those who are still waiting, and good luck to those who are, and will be, starting a new life in Canada.

They have mentioned that " you will receive seperate mail attached with some Forms for medical"

But still I haven' t received second mail from CIC yet.

They will issue transit visa on the spot for people travelling to Canada /USA/Aussie with PR n above

Friends, Finally I will be travelling next week to Toronto having obtained my Visa in Mar'15. Can anyone suggest if having Forex Card or Foreign Travel Card (with required amount) is admissible proof for "Proof of Funds" during landing? If not, what are the other options?

Dear Rizwan,

Don't worry, it takes sometime - my CC was charged after about 4 months, and since you've applied in December, then keep a provision of Christmas, New year and then Easter Holidays as well. Hopefully you should get an update soon

Application has returned due to CAP reached.

I have sent my additional documents related to my new born baby on 21st April n also paid the fees for my baby 150 CAD
my last update was on 30th oct so when can i expect a MR from NDVO, this month 21st May or Next month
Another query i have relating to the background check
I wanted to know whether it would be done during this 6 months wait i had or would it be done after they receive my documents again
