I read in a few places that when we land we're required to carry tons of documents, some people even listed more documents than I used during entire FSWP PR visa process!

Some people even listed documents such as list of things you'll import to the country later one.
CV / Resume, details of what you're going to do in Canada, all original IELTS, ECS and Degree certificates, employment ref letters etc.

I think it's too much, is this stuff really REQUIRED? On CIC website, during landing they've requested only three things, COPR, PP with Visa and proof of funds.

Since my first visit is going to be for tourism, I'd prefer to carry as fewer documents as possible.

Can anyone share experience and explain what documents does Canadian Immigration ask upon landing first time as an immigrant?

In the ppr email it is mentioned that
Should any of the following circumstances apply to you (or any person included in your application), you must inform this officeimmediately:

Change in Circumstances section it is mentioned that

A change in availability of funds for use in Canada

In this case pof that i have shown when i applied and the money I'm going to carrying is different means. Do I need to mention?

I do not think you need to mention unless you are planning to take very less than what is mentioned on POF page - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

If you are taking more than 10000 CAD, then declare it @ Immigration \ Customs in Canada.

Any June 30th 2014 applicant have got ppr request ???

Hello all,
I need some help. I got my third line update almost two months ago and nothing else, so I emailed my visa office. They replied and asked for my passport and the RPRF along with photograph and prepaid airway bill. I don't see a fourth line update on my application status though and It wasn't the official CIC letter, it was an email.
1. Does this mean my PR was approved?
2. Is there any possibility that my PR can be refused at this stage?
3. How much longer do I wait for a response/ what happens now?

I need to add my new born child to my FSW application. Can someone please advice how I do that. I have a very different case and could not find any answers on the forum addressing my particular situation.

Applied under FSW with wife. Passports were requested in Feb 2015. Informed visa office in Delhi in writing that my wife is pregnant while sending the passports. They stamped the passports with pr visa valid till Oct 2, 2015.

In the mean time I traveled to Canada and completed landing. My wife stayed behind. Now she has given birth to a child in India. Asked Delhi visa office via email on how to proceed but have no got a reply yet.

The status of my application shows "Complete".

I don't Know how to put the info on the left. But my timeline:
Applied: October 2
NOC :3012
CIO Received: Feb 18, 2015
Received in Kingston, Jamaica: March 5
Meds Requested: March 7
Meds Received: March 10, 2015 (had up front medical on file)

Third line update came soon after. Then no word until I emailed them and my Passport was requested "unofficially". I have been living and working in Canada for 14 months

Hi seniors help me out

I must expect a MR from NDVO by this months 21st May or Next month

Please help me out

Thanks sk1984indian. Yeah I will carry the amount not less than what cic says.

I am kind of figuring out that those whose FBI reports were submitted later than the normal time are getting delayed. Are there more folks who submitted their FBI reports later in March and still waiting for DM/PPR?
