Hi Friends,

Hope everybody is doing good.. Just wanted to share an observation that I made while going through Global spreadsheet for NDVO applicants:

Number of MR/ 3rd line/ 4th line update applicants: 342

Lets assume 15% variation owing to the fact that sheet might not be updated by all: 342- 51= 291

Now as per trend seen NDVO is granting approx. 25 PPRs in a week (taking 10 PPRs each on Tue and Thu and rest weekdays lets assume 5 PPRs in total)

So this makes it a waiting period of around 11.5 weeks for present applicants.

Some are very lucky to get their PPRs in 30-45 days window (maybe with no travel history, less number of companies worked for and so on) ,, rest of the applicants get it in 3 months time.Ofcourse this is a general observation, with intricate details casewise the time may also increase

So people waiting for PPRs more than 30-45days shouldn't actually worry as they are well within timelines at which NDVO seems to be working.

Did I miss something. Please share your valuable inputs.

NR.

Hello All..

I would like to thank each and every member of this forum who supported me directly or indirectly. I just read the VFS Status that

"Visa application, tracking ID No.20150504INHYPPT09426– Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 08/05/2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website"

Hopefully should receive my passport tomorrow with COPR.

Thanks

Brother I don't think so you will get 2mrw as VFS works only between mon-fri and passport collection time is between 2-4pm afternoon.

You might have to check with there call center on monday before going to collect.

Hello to All members,
I would like to know your opinions regarding my application. it was received in CIO sydney nova scotia on dec 3rd 2014, but i still have not received any updates from them, nor any email confirmations, neither rejection. does it really take this much time?, I see a lot of people are talking about their 2nd and 3rd line updates already, having their applications received on more or less the same dates as mine, if not the same.
I am worried now, that has it been received in person by the office or not.
Please update if there is anyone else who has the same issue as mine.
Thanks,

Can anyone please update regarding the quoted issue that i posted earlier.
thanks,

Hi All,

Could you please let me know if it is be ok for the POF (Proof of Funds) to be in a bank in India. I go to Canada with a minimal cash and then transfer the money there? If border security asks can I show the Bank Balance Slip from any cash machine at airport in Canada? Is that possible?

Thanks
Karunya

Unfortunately this would not be acceptable IMHO. You can carry travellers cheque or transfer to a canadian bank account (e.g. scotia). Then after you land and open / activate your account, transfer them back. I feel this is the only possible option

thanks all those who congratulated me ... im sure all your PPR's are on their way too !!

i also checked after PPR yesterday its a DM today :)

Haha Priya My prediction was so right I estimated 15 May .

Congrats !! If you got PPR today and you submit in VFS office today you will get your visa back stamped by minimum 5 days as NDVO takes min 5 days to stamp visa.
Now you should give party :P :P

Hello seniors

I have a confusion regarding one thing ... Currently my application is with the London visa office , I received PER in the initial days of march and the ECAS status is still just one line , which says ... We received your application on this date ...

I claimed my points for adaptability , so for proving the PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP factor , I submitted 3-4 supporting documents , as the birth certifcate of my canadian relative is not available .. so I asked him to write a declaration letter claiming my biological relation towards him ... Having said that , due to lack of time .. I submitted my application ... But meanwhile I also applied for the FRC ( Family registration certificate ), which is now ready and it is issued by National Database and Registration Authority - NADRA ( A governmental body ) ... The certifcate verifies my biological relationship towards my Canadian relative ... so ... I was planning to send this certificate as well ... So that there will be no objection towards PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP factor ... Kindly advice me that WHEN SHOULD I SEND THIS ? IS THIS THE RIGHT TIME OR SHALL I WAIT FOR THE VISA OFFICE PEOPLE TO ASK FOR FURTHER DOCUMENTS ?? Because someone told me that I should not send these documents by myself until or unless they ask me for it ...

advice please

Mates,
