Brother, the process of sending DD Receipt has been started from April 2015.
People were not getting it before that.

You can obviously check with your bank. Bank usually will tell you whether your DD has been encashed or not..!!

Collected Passport with Visa and COPR today. PP submitted on 30-Apr at VFS Delhi. VISA ISSUED DAtE : 28 Apr 2015 (a day before When PPR email was received).

Please guide, how long does it take for NDVO to respond as I have sent the additional documents on 18th Apr for new born along with fees to send them medical for new born. My ECAS status has been showing 'Medicals has been recieved' after i sent pending x-ray of my wife left due to pregnancy.

I just came from sbi nri branch in Ahmedabad, I went there to inquire about my dd, I asked them if dd is encashed or not, they said we don't know status of dd...we don't have any clue how to check it...

Hey bro.

I understand you pain. This delay is for sure not an usual trend for all applicants.
That said, each application poses it own set of complexities for the VO and they may need to run a few extra steps or a second level check.
We have seen a few folks who's GCMS showed that the files we simply eating dust in Registry for months.

We dont know how the VO functions but raise GCMS to get more clarity on why this delay.

Finally, Never are we out of the race till we are told so. Delay do happen and they dont mean negative results.
Hang on and at best raise GCMS.
