No need to worry , I've had 3 medical furtherences in last 5 months and at last everything was fine (Medical received).Your situation seems far better than this. All happened because of a minor infection which creeped up in Xray. I have had gone though quite an anxious time during this period. But there is no reason to worry as you have said that it was fine in later X ray. But i assume they will ask you to go through TB detection tests to clear out any TB infection. Here is quick recap how the events went by.
1. Mid NOV i got MR.
2. Did MR at end of NOV.
3. Got call from hospital in first week of DEC that medical tests are needed due to some chest infection. This was TB detection test (3 day suputm and 60 day culture). Got mail from VO after 5 days to have tests in 7 Days.
4. Consulted my family DOC next day. He did Xray and said that infection is there. Recommended to have CT scan.
5. Did CT scan next day. It turned out to be some fungus infection. Gave me 10 days medicine to clear out infection.
6. Got mail from VO also to have test in 7 days.
7. Went to hospital in 3rd week of DEC. TB detection facility was not available in Hospital. They recommended me to another hospital in another city.
8. Went to this test center 4 days later. They took 3 days culture and suptum samples.
9. Waited for 60-65 days.
10. Got call from Hospital that tests are ready.
12. Went there. TB tests were negative. They also took Xray.
13. Got mail from VO again to have tests again. Hospital didn't inform me this time. Called them 10-12 times to have conversation.
14. Went to hospital.
15. VO query for tests : Xray is total clear. Why? Have tests to rule out TB.
16. Did CT Scan, X-Ray. Gave my older CT reports in Step 5 for comparison. They said that reports will available next day. Went home.
17. Came to hospital next day. Doc was on leave. Took reports and went home.
18. Came to hospital next day. Doc asked: TB meds? Showed older TB reports and meds slips. He said OK. recommended Spirometry test. Lab closed . Went home.
19. Came for spirometry. Results were normal. Showed to DOC. Doc said fine. Go home ill prepare reports and send to VO. Went home.
20. Waited for 20 days. No medical upload.
21. Called hospital (20-25 times). Q: Asked where is my file.A: Could not find.. Called again Response: File found, Will upload.
22. Called again next day. They didn't upload. Called higher persons . They Uploaded this time.
23. Waited for 10 days .
24. MEDICAL RECEIVED.
25. PHEW!!!!
This hospital was 120 KM away from my place. Not to mention the time and work. Money, Don't even consider and doesn't matter.
My suggestion: Meet the designated hospital doc and talk about it if anything could be done about it (show him X-ray and other findings). If you are on meds then keep the slips and every report safe. Take certificate from your doc that he found no abnormilities.
