Immediately came out of the meeting, Called my consultant and i was just so lost in the moment that i didnt hear anything apart from PPR from her. then posted here to inform all my wonderful friends on the forum. Called my parents and told them about it. It was some day for me

Since VFS Nepal is closed for uncertain period and I need to submit passport to NDVO, I am thinking of sending it through COurier..
Sending passport through Courier is simple...
But for collecting passport by courier on my behalf, courier needs authorization letter after the visa office sends notification that visa has been affixed and ready for collection...Does NDVO notifies (through email) that visa has been issued/stamped....what is the mechanism of sending passport through courier ?? very worried as 1 week has passed since PPR.

Brother,

Normally when you courier Passports from within India. NDVO stamps the passports and sends it through speed post

I am not really sure on how it works for applicants in Nepal.

This is what i would suggest

Please contact Delhi-immigration@international.gc.ca with the following information:

• “Nepal Earthquake” at the beginning of the subject;
• How you have been affected by the earthquake in Nepal;
• The region that you are in;
• Your name (family and given);
• Date of birth;
• Type of application (student, worker, visitor, Permanent Residence in Canada);
• UCI
• Your current and valid passport number #;
• File Number
• Telephone number (optional)

In that email, Inform them VFS Nepal is closed due to the current situation. Request them information on how to send your passports to them and ask how they will be returned back (If an authorization letter is required, whom should it be addressed to)

I have a question in IMM5669E form. I was in US and in L1B visa my company tried to convert that to L1A visa and it got rejected while I was in US. In IMM5669E form for section A 6d and 6e I have put NO. I thought it was NO since it was rejected when I was in US please let me know if the below answer is right and if I need to correct what should I do now

Please note I am dependent not principal applicant.

Maybe I did not say it clearly. The deposit certificate was always under my husband's name not mine. Because I am in USA, we saved most of money in his account in our own country. But I am the primary applicant, so I am not sure whether it is ok using his deposit certificate.

Now the CIC requests the withdraw/deposit history of 6 months. But the old certificate is fixed deposit. So maybe we need provide another evidence which is not fixed deposit, right? Since this money has already been saved as fixed deposit, I cannot change it until November.

We can provide our bank statement of 6 months, but also need combine both of our accounts. Is that ok?

I will provide the fixed deposit certificate (>request amount) + 6 months bank statements (balance >= request amount)

Also, I will work in Canada from next month. I can provide the job offer with salary amount. Does that help?

The fact that you will be working in Canada you will no longer require to furnish the Proof of Fund provided you get the necessary proof to send it to CIC.

Hi All
I am FSW 14 applicant and we have already received our medicals. I got my application put on hold last year because my wife was expecting. So everything except for my wifes X-Ray is done and with CIC.
We were blessed with a baby girl last month. My wife is now going to get her x-ray done.

I need to know what do I need to do for addition in the family. Please note I am in US and my daughter is a born US Citizen, so slightly confused on how to go about it.

1. I believe I will need to submit some forms for that. Please tell which forms to submit or resubmit?
2. Does adding my daughter to canadian PR impacts her US citizenship in any way? I believe no as Canada-US allow dual citizenship but need a confirmation on this.
3. Will there be additional fees for that?
4. Will she require medical?

Hi guys,

I'm in a strange situation here and I'd like for you to help me if possible.

I've been waiting for my MR for 3 months and now I've got accepted in a college in Toronto. One of the seniors here advised me to do upfront medical, pay RPRF and send them to my VO together with my Letter of Acceptance and a letter explaining my situation.

Problem is... in my application, I've picked Beijing as my VO but I've got the AOR from Hong Kong VO (I heard HK starts the process and then sends it to Beijing).

- Should I send it all to Beijing or HK VO?
- Is there a way to find out where my application is being processed at the moment?
- Any other ideas as to how to sort this out?

I wouldn't mind having to send it twice, but I'm sending our PCCs with translation and, being a foreigner here, it's difficult, expensive and takes a lot of time to get new ones.
