3rd line ( Medical received) updated on 08th April and I am waiting for DM / PPR . As I have to serve 3 months' notice period in my company . Does it make sense to resign now or wait for my DM / PPR ( After background / Security checks are complete) and then resign ... I am unable to take a call ... Appreciate your feedback /suggestions

Is it possible to get the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5688) number by calling to CIC after Decision made ?

Has anybody tried this ??

I don't think CIC will provide this information to you unless you are in Canada or your VO is Ottawa.

Even if it is Ottawa VO, I doubt that they will provide it over the phone.

It must be paid by the principal applicant and also by the spouse.

it will be mentioned in ur letter which u receive from vo . Alongwith rprf is paid for the number of applicants +1(principal applicant) means its for total no of persons who will accompany to pa

I have received my medicals request and have completed it as well on 24th April. When I went for PCC the PSK guys told me that the passport is a bit damaged and asked to take approval for the Assistant passport officer which I did and now waiting for my PCC. My concern is will this cause an issue at the time of PPR and visa stamping ? Can i get another passport before PPR or wait for PPR and then get a new passport or leave it as it is.
The damage is minor the binding treads are lose between the blue cover and the booklet inside it. Is this fine or passport needs to be changed if yes what is the process as I can't change the passport now because visa will be issued to me on the same passport

Hello Dear Forum members and Seniors,

Thank you so much for the support. I appreciate your sincere suggestions. This forum is just amazing.
So what I understand from everyone's opinion is that I should inform the VO immediately about my error. I was so silly. I didn't read the form. Just relied on my consultant. I wish I knew that we are supposed to disclose it. I thought that only the current passport visas need to be mentioned. I didn't mean to hide it. And yes I received a written rejection letter for both the refusals.

Now my question is if I didn't receiver any AOR does that means my visa office is Ndvo? I am in US currently for my work project? Do I need to inform them about this travel? Also where can I find a copy of cover letter for contacting the VO?

u have option of leaving ur consultant and update cic that u will update and process the application on ur own behalf and let them know all details and u may write a covering letter explaining the situation and send as much dox as u can . this will delay process but its better to late than never.
