Congrats Bro. You got the PPR today?
The faster way to get the reply is contact VFS in Riyadh with your PPR request and they will contact Canadian embassy in Riyadh and New Delhi on behalf of you. They will get fast reply than you contacting directly to NDVO.

Hello friends said:
dear forum members

I am new to this forum. I have been a silent reader for long time but today I have to break my silence due to an urgent issue. I applied on nov 12, noc 1212 and got a per on feb 4, 2015
From ndvo. My slu on April 20. However I just realized that I forgot to mention about my canada visitor visa and student visa refusal in 2008 and 2009. But I renewed my passport after that and therefore this mistake occurred. How can I fix this problem? Will it be considered as mispresentation?
My consultant who is in canada told me strictly not to do anything now as it may lead to refusal and a ban for 2 years. What should I do? Really stressed.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

hey dude, it would be very silly if u don't tell them, many of us here in the forum has this situation i too forgot to disclose and later sent an letter to ndvo n got MR..

if any time in future eventually they get to know about these refusals PR will be revoked. its ur luck only if they don't discover that u hv been refused. even a guy here did this stupid mistake and later got a show cause letter from VO.

look past refusals has nothing to do with current applications even in letter they write ' u can again apply in future for x visa if there is significant change in current situation of ur financial, experience, pending police cases e.t.c.'

this is my view rest is ur choice, but read about it. don't go by poor consultant, they just give wrong advices to people they know nothing, n VO never trust these agents.

I may be wrong but thts what I have noticed from forum friends. Seniors can suggest if otherwise.

Congratts Dsiraj
Well i can see the note in the above email to send the passport within 30 days

Guys,

Awesome work you all are doing here in guiding newbies like me.

I work in Dubai and not planning to move to Canada until March 2017. What I plan to do, however, is to make a quick landing by March 2016, stay for a month to collect the PR card (and if possible open a bank account/collect SIN) and return to Dubai.

The question is: do I need to carry with me the entire CAD 12000 that CIC has stipulated that a single applicant must have, keeping in mind that my sojourn there will be for only one month or so? Can I carry with me the FD receipt to show I have the funds required?

I also received at the time of MR notification from the High Commission of Canada in London, a request to pay the Landing fees. Is this the case with everyone?
