Hi Team,

Any May 12 Applicant like me, STILL WAITING FOR PPR?
We did our Medicals on Nov 11 and the results uploaded on Nov 17, 2014.

GCMS received last week, shows MEDICAL status SENT (Don't know what it means) for my Spouse (Rest family approved) and CRIMINAL Checks IN PROGRESS for ALL.

Looks like my case is gone into an endless loop :( :( :(

Guys,

Has anyone attended the CIIP program via online option?

1. What is the fee for CIIP program? - there is no fee, it free
2. What information can you expect when attending online? - - no idea about online option, i think you have to attend physically
3. Is there 1 to 1 session when to register for CIIP via online channel? - - the first day of the session is from 8:30 to 5:00pm and the next two or three days will be one on one session where they will inform the time.

We are attending the program on 19th May, will update further details on online if any.

Hello all... Finally got third line update today. My timelines are:

Date of file : Sep 7, 2014
PER : Dec. 12 ,2014
SL : March 11, 2015
Medicals: March 28, 2014
Medicals done: April 20, 2015
Medical receipts, RPRF, PCC sent thru Blue Dart : April 21,2015 & Received by them : April 22, 2015 (RPRF paid online)
Third line : we have received your medicals : May 2, 2015

Does this means my medical and PCC are all okay and my file is through?? And it's just a matter of time to get a DM status?

Or still there are medicals to be evaluated and they may be rejected?? (In fact in Medicals they found me to be little over weight, not obese with high blood pressure.... Doc made me undergo ECG and ECHO Test... But never shared results of them) so I am worried and bit apprehensive.

Thanks in advance.

My SLU was we started processing your application on Dec 12th and so far no third line update but I received mail request for RPRF ?& MR. Also after which there was no update in ECAS or through mail .Its been nearly 2 months since DD encashed and almost 4 months (Jan 9th) since MR/RPRF asked for? Only god knows what a hell they are doing?.

Hello Senoirs,

I recently got married and updated CIC about this family status change through case specific enquiry. Before my marriage i received an email from Delhi immigration office requesting for medical, PCC and RPRF. I am done with the requested documents.

I need your suggestion on passport update, please let me know whether is it mandatory to have spouse name on each of our passports? I may have to go to USA on my current project, will there be any issue with the passports with out spouse names on it?

Hi, what was ur 3rd line update and y u received the DD back? Did you pay d DD via Online well eithin the days limit he mentioned? How many days he had given to you?

Congratulations Kanika !!! very good news.. hope you are njoying these moments.. Below details provided by Qorax

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t35499.0.html

As a federal skilled worker, we can chose any POE in Canada & complete our landing formalities, regardless of the destination mentionned in our Apps or the COPR, except Quebec* [details below].

Canada's immigration laws provide for a 2 step process for our visa applications:
>Step-1. The CIC/CHCs carry out stage One (read our apps processing system).
>Step-2. Carried out by an Immigration Officer at the POE.

Reg. step-1, we are already familiar. This is how we get our PR Visas. For the step-2 (at POE) however, landing is our "Right". Though not an 'automatic right', we must still satisfy the officer at the POE that our entry is permissible: A12(1), called the 'Verification of PR', outlined in Sections 19(1) & (2) of the Act. But, another thing is also involved in this step-2, called 'Completion of the Record of Landing' for admission into Canada, which is obligatory.

For this "Record of Landing", 'admissibility' is not affected by our choice of POE. All it's needed is to fill up certain forms, specifically the PR Card form (IMM 5444E), wherein we have to provide an address for card delivery. This can be anywhere, beyond the POE. This is how newcomers with COPR destination as Montreal-Quebec drive thru the POE of Sarnia, Bluewater Bridge. There are many other examples, but for brevity I just chose one.

*There is only 'one' catch though. For Quebec, although any FSW would be allowed to enter thru a Quebec POE, they cannot complete the 'Record of Landing' here. And would have to further drive/fly to another province (any) to report to its Immigration Officer for the 'completion' of record of landing. This is because Quebec needs the CSQ certificate to complete this procedure. Which only is for a Quebec PR applicant. (however, it is not vice-versa... a Quebec PR applicant can do all the formalities in any other Canadian POE).

End Note: Anyone of us FSWs can land in any Canadian POE, irrespective of what's written in our apps or the COPR

Hope this helps !

Regards,
Pandu

Third line update was for medical s received.I submitted dd along with medical docs initially on 7 March. I made dd for 53400 for 2 but due to dollar rate revision we received it back ndvo saying to resubmit same with revised amount ie 48400. Then I paid the rprf money thru credit card. Which got charged immediately on 2 Apr.
We received dd back on 29 March .
