Congrats to all who got updates. and All the best for further process.

Congrats buddy!!!

Guys,

I have submitted my passports at VFS Chandigarh for stamping. Today got the msg from VFS stating that my passports have been submitted to Canada Visa Office, Chandigarh. Sholdn't it be going to NDVO instead of CVO - Chandigarh?

Please advise is it right or I need to contact VFS for this..??

Karunya,

You are lucky to get a response for your email. Generally they don't acknowledge this type of inquiries. Find the below text from NDVO page.

=========================================
...confirming receipt of documents and bank drafts/transfers: We will not confirm reception of your documents. If you want a confirmation of delivery, you must send your documents by registered mail or courier. If you want a confirmation that we have processed your bank draft or transfer, you should contact the bank that issued the draft or made the transfer.

Hey Webdev

Exactly, I saw the disclaimer before sending the email. That is the exact reason, in my email to them I didn't ask if they have received my documents instead I myself confirmed that they received the documents (As per Blue Dart status tracking). I wrote as below

"...posted the copy of the same on 19th March 2015 through Blue Dart (Courier) bearing Waybill No : ******. These documents were received at your office on 20th March 2015 09:05 AM (As per Blue Dart status tracking). I kindly request you to let me know the status of my application.".

Just to clarify, I am not confirming that NDVO will reply to all our emails, but we have a chance to e-mail them, why not try it? Didn't wanted to leave any stone unturned
