Thanks Jaxon Bro !! +1 to you !! Wassup with you ? how are things in UK ?

Thanks, things are good in the UK!

Not much happening. All that excitement of and joy Canadian PR has settled down. I'm now feeling I am in the same situation I was around this time last year :) I mean around this time last year, FSW wasn't announced, I had no plan to apply for it either!

Now I've got the visa, about which I'm happy of course but I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it! After the excitement died out, the dilemma situation started. I started realizing what I'd miss if I leave the UK! And of course, never been to Canada myself, just started feeling little uneasy and it got all confusing by day. In the morning I convince myself that I'll like Canada, and by the evening I start again to think, will I really like Canada? LOL

However, I've decided not to complicate things, and I've decided to visit Canada and spent two-three weeks and may be make a trip during winter and summer each to find out what's it like to live in Canada as first step! I'll think afterwards, so I'm bit relaxed now!

i have used transferwise to transfer some 2K usd from UK in chunks of 200. i think their service is reliable, fast, cheap and good.

TransferWise is not a traditional currency broker, but peer-to-peer currency specialist. Sometime ago I read somewhere that it wasn't safe because it was not authorized by FCA. But recently I heard they've now been authorized by FCA so they're probably the best option now I think!

They offer the best exchange rate. They can do this as you never actually transfer any money, but have reserves of currency in several different countries. So you'd pay into the UK pot, and your recipient is paid out from the euro, dollar or rupee pot, depending on where they live.

You are right Jaxon......Their Site says Fully FCA Regulated.....

Is there any limitations in sending the amounts????

Hello Friends,

I am looking for some advise from numerous experts in this group.

I have recently been request for MR by CIC and I am supposed to respond back by May 15th. However, due to come personal constraints and availability of CIC panelist here in my city (in Canada) I am not able to meet this time line. In my best case scenario, I would be about a week late in submitting the results to CIC. Is this ok to submit the results with a week's delay or it will drastically impact my processing.

On a second question, I submitted the Police Clarification Certificate along with the application. Do I need to submit it again now.

On my third and last question, I selected New Delhi as visa office while submitting the application, but I made a move to Canada on company trasfer. Is this possible to send the passports for visa stamping to an office in Canada as I am staying here. If yes, please advise what's the process for same.

Thank you.
Gurjeet

Dear All,

I applied for FBI PCC in Jan'2015. As per latest update from FBI, PCC has been released from their end on last Friday (17th Apr 2015) via normal post. But even after a week I could not receive it.

Can someone please help me to know, how to track the post (As per customer care executive of FBI, they don't have any tracking number)?

Generally how many days does it take to deliver the PCC?

Thanks

You can use it as a reserve option if the UK PR doesn't work out for you.

I advise you to look for another designated doctor. Delay of one week may make your whole application at risk.
For a new PCC, send it to local visa office only if they ask for it
