What I understand that the all the photocopied documents shall be Notarized. Only new one....It takes few mins. for notarizing it. Why to take chances....

Brother I dont have notary facility in my country.

I am trying to understand how it can push our PPR till June :'(. This notification is from VSF and they are not only partner for Canada but others as well, like USA & Australia. so, VFS's load could be because of other visa as well. If your analysis is correct then really it is going to be horrific

Yes, VFS is partnered with other countries too but they have separate offices for each country. In Hyderabad Canada VFS and UK VFS are in two different places. The news I shared is specifically for Canada Visa applicants.
I do not want to discourage anyone but to set the expected timelines.

How did you sent the docs earlier? You might have notarized the photocopies as per CIC guidelines....Get in touch with other Forum members who are from same country where you are now.....They will be in a position to guide you.....

NDVO requested me to submit PCC from Saudi Arabia.Presently, I am linving in Saudi Arabia on Family Visit Visa status since February 2015(Now 2 Months) and had lived Saudi in 2014 on Visit visa for 5 months and 27 days.

Please help me to understand the meaning of below under lined sentence that i copied from CIC website "How to get Police Certificate" section.

How to Get a Police Certificate - Saudi Arabia
Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate.

How to get a Police Certificate:



If you live in Saudi Arabia:
Certificates are available only to current legal residents.

What is the mening of "Legal Residents" ?

I think people who have Saudi IQAMA (Saudi Residence Permit). In my case, i am on Visit Visa status. I mean, i am not a Resident only a visitor. Am i Correct ?


Some of my friends told me that Saudi PCC will not issue for Visitors bacause saudi police need Iqama copy.

So, can i request for Saudi Arabia's PCC exemption from Visa Officer at NDVO quoting above under lined information from CIC web site ?

Friens please share your valuable advice and opinion.

I already got my PER and now ,the Visa office emailed and asked me to send them my Updated CV (Resume) .

What Points should I consider when preparing the CV ?

1-They are not gonna hire me so whats the point in Asking fro my CV ?
2-Is it for Security Check ?
3-Should I Keep the job Duties & responsibility the same as those I send with my Initial Application ?
4-Is it necessary to add Table listing all my technical certificates to the resume ?

Today NDVO called my previous employer.. It was their third call... This time luckily they called at his cell number.


For ppl waiting for MR, you're likely to get verification like this soon..
So for your reference, these were the questions they asked my boss
1 About my details... Employment duration..
2 How he selected me?? Whether I was referred by someone else..
3. My duties and responsibilitie.
4. How he paid me.
5. If it was through bank,then the bank name and branch.
6. Colleagues name and DESIGNATION

Soon after this call, NDVO called me and asked all these questions to cross verify.... I Answered to the best f my knowledge....
They said they'd bother me again if it's needed...
Keeping my fingers crossed.....

This is one of the reason for long delay between second line and MR. If someone is stuck at second line probably their file is picked for verification.
