but when do they actually do the background checks for the employments.

After 2nd line update in Ecas..They may not do detailed background check for all....Since u cleared MR, most likely ur Employment Check stage is passed...that is, unless u have changed jobs and informed the VO...

Hello Friend Arkscan, (I am not Tough on my Friends )

I waited for more than 48 hours and then sent a reminder email to NDVO to sent my IM1017. But even after waiting for a week i didnt get IMM1017 so I had no option but to proceed with medical test. Interestingly till date NDVO havn't sent IM1017 to me.

I will get in touch with "Diplimatru'.

Ok buddy...then there'd be no issues.....Hope u have sent the receipts of Medicals completed...Now the VO would have to link ur Medicals to ur File...But ask Diplo once, if he advises something else....

Rembr this is for NDVO so strongly suggest u to raise a CSE with Warsaw first just telling that you got married and waiting for their response to see what forms they require..Don't send anything upfront...

Sorry for the late update. Have been caught up in a lot of work and travel lately and this will continue for some time more.

Got my 2nd line update and MR & RPRF finally. 2nd line update dated 13th April and MR & RPRF email dated 15th april. The ECAS update happened on 16th April and the MR mail also recd on 16th April, India time.

My timelines are as below.

NOC : 1114
VO : NDVO / WVO
Application recd date as per me : 2nd Sept 2014
Application recd date as per CIC : 20th October 2014
DD encashed date : 23rd Dec 2014
1st Line update : 16th Jan 2015
PER : 20th Jan 2015
AOR from WVO : 09th Feb 2015
Upfront meds done : 31st mar 2015
Med results uploaded by Hospital : 3rd Apr 2015

Med Uploaded : April 9 2015
2nd line updated : April 18 2015

It would have not been possible for me to wait patiently without the support of all you guys on this forum. I really thank you all and look forward for your blessings and good wishes.

I have not got my surname written on the passport, so I had to fill my given name in the surname in the generic form and wrote NA in the given name.
do i need to write the name same way while raising the CSE?

Q: Before moving to Canada from India, do we need to get Income Tax clearance from India. In my case, there is an income tax demand as my employer did not deposit TDS for AY 2013-14 as it went bankrupt and is currently into CDR cell. I have intimated this to CPC against demand on efiling portal.

My worry is that if I buy tickets, would there be any likelihood of getting stuck at India immigration counter.

Sent RPRF, Passport copies and PCC on the same day, received by VO on 6 Apr
3rd line updated on 7 APR

Applied for PP renewal on 7 APR and got new Passport on 14 APR (Validity of the old PP was till Jan 2016, renewed early - will it be problem, as PCC has old passport number - and renewed just after medicals and third line update)

When should I inform VO about the renewal of Passport. ( Should I inform now, or when I get PPR, at the time of submitting passport for stamping)

What is the correct procedure.

Should I inform by CSE or send PP copies by courier to VO or both

i was also in same position.. i sent CSE to NDVO. attached a covering letter and scanned copies of 1st and last pages of passport. if they require a hard copy, they will ask for the same.
