hey!

I am a november applicant and I have received MR from the Sao Paulo VO. I submitted passports on April 7th. Today the ECAS started showing line 4 - decision made. As there is a national holiday early this week I expect (hopefully) that I will be able to pick them up by wednesday...

Nonetheless... already started working on taking actions on moving...

Good luck to all!!

SaoPaulo Applicants r lucky than any other VO.

No it's fine..Ratan did Paper-based Medicals from Senegal..Different country, different rules...:)

The Guidelines for Paper-based Medicals here->
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/exam/submit.asp

state that
"Panel physicians are encouraged to give a copy of the immigration medical examination to the client, unless it would be injurious to the client's physical or mental health."

Hoever it's not mandatory and the PP doesn't have to necessarily follow it...What matters is how quickly the PP over there submits all the Original records to the VO over here....

Thanks Arkscan and +1 to you......

The reports have been dispatched to London......which might be the Regional Medical Office for Senegal. It will be delivered to VO on Monday...as it has already reached London Airport.....How much time will it take for 3rd line update now?

Thanks one again.....

Dear Friends,

Need a urgent help from my fellow folks... :-X

I have received a PCC request from NDVO office today. I have one question, it will be great if any one can help me out with it.

Q) My application was received by CIC Canada on 1stAugust2014 and i received my PCC certificate on 11thAugust2014 (for Canadian immigration) from the concerned authorities. My questions is can i submit the same certificate (as its 8 months old) to immigration office or will i have to get a new one.

regards,
singh

Hi,

CIC says that PCC should be dated 3 months from date of application. Now in your case application date is 11th Aug and so I think PCC is valid and you can go ahead with its submission.

Hello Friends,

I have a situation wherein I sent medicals, PCC and RPRF to NDVO on 24th March (Received on 25th March). I checked with emedical facilities and they did update the medicals on time. Its 24th day today :o and I am still awaiting 3rd line update i.e. medicals are received on ECAS.

I checked with doctor and he said all results are fine, so I don't know whats taking so long to update medical results.

I imagine that I was in a group(atleast I know 3 other ppl) whom did not receive IMM1017 via separate email though had received medical request letter from CIC via email on 14th March 2015. We waited for more than 48 hours after medical request email and in absence of IMM1017 we just went ahead with medicals.

I imagine is this causing the delay to update the medical results!! I am planning to raise GCMS notes to get to root cause.
Friends, if you have any other point of view please let me know.

Regards,
AK

Hi All,

I was just wondering that the cases where the File has been transferred to other Visa office like: Colombo/Warsaw. Do these people have to send their Passport to that VO for stamping or it will be stamped at NDVO as they have to send MR and PCC to the respective transferred VO.

Please share your experience for the benefit of others....

Cheers....

DM is absolutely irrelevant (pretty much like all e-cas updates).
Ready for Visa email means that processing is completed and the IPM (in case of VO) or AD (in case of CPC-O) reached a final decision to issue travel document.

By "Ready for Visa E-mail" do you mean PPR?

Anyway, though I agree that ECAS updates aren't meaningful as actual steps in the process, they can give you clues during the long waiting periods between VO communications, and I was happy to see mine change to DM today. :D

Hi, Dear Friends. I am suffering with agony. My 2nd line update was in Dec'14 as "WE STARTED PROCESSING YOUR APPLICATION".

Actually on Jan 9th'15 I'v received request mail from NDVO for RPRF & MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS. Medical results were done on Feb 9th and uploaded the Upfront results by CMM, Hyderabad on Feb 12th'15. Well within 45 days I've paid my RPRF in 2 installments via DD due to my misunderstanding. They have sent both the DD'S and stated that "In-order to continue processing of the application, please send us the full amount". Here in the checklist where they have ticked, they have not mentioned the last date to send the DD. This means I can send with no time restriction ? i.e., after a week or so. Just like I did?. So, I sent my DD of Rs. 53,400/- on Mar 3rd and it was received on 4rt March'15. This DD they have received after 45 days only. So, is this is a real problem for me. What might have happened. Why there is no update on medicals? If we pay RPRF or get medicals done, is that mean we are through and virtually landed in Canada? Is there any need to worry now. Can I know from Kotak bank about my DD encashment? But the lady said its not possible to tell any such status about DD like Cheque. Please help me on this.

Is 3rd line update i.e., "MEDICALS RECEIVED" mandatory for everyone. Means everyone will receive this status?

Hi anilenviron
3rd line medical received has no relation to rprf/ pcc.
It is updated once visa officer reviews ur medical. If no further medical test is required, 3rd line is updated
I received my 3rd line before i submitted my rprf n pcc.
