Urgent,

If passports are in visa office for stamping, then ECAS suddenly shows decision made while PP is still there, is this concerning?
congrats,as decision made when ur passport is with vo means your passport is ready for stamping or its stamped and you will receive it back soon with visa and COPR its a good sign

Hey guys,

I have a quick question for those who already received DM.
When the 4th line is updated on ECAS, does the outer hyper link which says "In Process" change to "Decision Made" ? Or it would still say "In Process" and we'd find the 4th line inside along with the other 3 lines, after we click on the "In Process" ?

Hi All, I have a query someone pls guide me. I did send my medicals, PCC and RPRF receipt to Colombo Visa Office ( as my file was transferred to colombo instead of New Delhi) while taking a print of the RPRF receipt i didn't filled any details in the form and just send the receipt along with other docs. I thought probably this is the only way we might be getting a receipt and if i hamper it by writing & if something went wrong so out of fear i didn't write anything was just playing it safe.

SOme one pls guide will these be a problem? its almost 15 days they received my courier with above docs but still waiting reply from them for further action. !! What would be the next step? and how long it takes? I recall they have not called any of my references given i did confirmed with them will they call now??

Someone pls guide me i am *censored word* tensed now after reading lot of comments on this page..

Hi,

If you have attached the Request Letter from VO then there is no issues. If you have paid using your own Debit/Credit Card the name will also be appearing on the receipt so not to worry at all.

Also, I suggest that you raise CSE or email scanned copy of the receipt with your details written on it to VO.

Cheers.....

Cheers....

DSIRAJ DONT WORRY ON ACCOUNT OF PAYMENT FROM SOME OTHER'S CREDIT CARD. THE RECIPT ITSELF MENTIONS THAT THE NAME OF APPLICANT CAN DIFFER FROM THE NAME OF HOLDER OF CREDIT CARD.

SECONDLY, YOU MIGHT BE USING IMM5401 DROP DOWN MENU IN ECAS. IMM5401 IS NOT USED FOR PAYMENT OUTSIDE CANADA AND FOR RPRF.

I HOPE THE BELOW WOULD CLARIFY YOUR DOUBTS

What is the IMM 5401 Fee Receipt?
If you are filing an application with Citizenship and Immigration Canada within Canada, you usually have two ways to pay the application fee:
1. Pay online with your credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, or Visa only) provided you have
PDF Reader software
A valid email address
A printer to print your receipt
2. If you are unable to pay online or you just don't want to, then you can pay in person at a Canadian financial institutions. To do this, you need an IMM 5401 fee receipt to take with you to the financial institution. The financial institution will indicate on the receipt that you paid and then you can submit the receipt with your application.

Please note that if you are filing an application with CIC from outside of Canada there are different payment methods. An IMM 5401 Fee Receipt cannot be used for these applications.

What applications do I need to use the IMM 5401 Fee Receipt for?
The fee receipt is used to show proof of that you paid the application fees prior to submitting the application. You can use the fee receipt for the following types of applications:
Canadian Citizenship Application First Citizenship Certificate (within Canada only)
Citizenship Certificate / Card Replacement (within Canada only)
Search of Citizenship Records (within Canada only)
Extend My Stay in Canada:
Study Permit
Temporary Resident Permit Visa (Temporary Resident Visa)
Work Permit Application for Rehabilitation (within Canada only)
Verification of Status applications:
Authorization to Return to Canada Protected Person (Refugee)
Record of Landing (IMM 1000) replacement
Study Permit Temporary Resident Permit Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa)
Work Permit

My visa office is NDVO
Here is my Timeline
15 May 2014 - Application filed
03 Sep 2014 - PER
18 Nov 2014 - Additional Documents required for marriage
18 Dec 2014 - Additional Documents sent
24 Jan 2015 - MR, RPRF and PCC request
08 Feb 2015 - Medicals received (update on ecas)
16 Feb 2015 - RPRF paid online
18 Feb 2015 - PCC with RPRF receipt and medical confirmation reports sent (RPRF sent blank)
07 Mar 2015 - RPRF receipt sent again after filling the required fields
**********
23 Mar 2015 - apply gcms notes (Status - still waiting)
**********

Now I am desperately waiting for my DM and PPR
don't know how long will it take

There is a little concern I would like to ask people here if they experienced something similar
I paid my RPRF online using my friends credit card
and whenever I try to access ecas with the receipt number of RPRF I get no results I get an error
though with UCI and Application number I get the ecas status as "In Process"

Did somebody else also experience the same type of thing. I am kind of scared now
maybe something went wrong with my payment?

Dear All,

I need your assistance. A brother linked me up here to learn and be informed. I received an acknowledgement FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER CENTRALIZED INTAKE OFFICE in November 2014 that my application is "IN PROCESS". I have not heard anything yet since then. Should I be very worried?

Again, there are lots of abbreviations that I am finding it difficult to understand like PPR, DM, etc. Could you explain what they mean?

Thank you

You will catch up on terms in a while. Firstly read the process steps on cic.gov.ca website. It will help you know the steps.

After a wait of nearly 2.5 months I saw the 4th Line update "Decision Made" :) ;D ;D ;D :) :) :)

I have not got the PPR still though. I read here in posts that it takes 2 weeks.

Can any one let me know how many days it takes generally to return the passports after we send them to VO.
