as per cic, my doc's were returned on Feb 26th . Did not get the post yet. Any idea how long does it take ?

They normally post it through regular snail mail, it might take up to two months before you recieve it

I need to send my passport to the embassy. It is the final step ... i guess, and we are happy about it

It is requested the "height (in cms) and eye color of each person". Does this needs to be an official document from the doctor ? Or just a blank sheet of paper in which I should write this.

That all what the consultant had mentioned in the mail. They said we usually counsel our clients to be patient as every visa office works at a different pace. . They seem to have standard answers for each one's query. I was earlier told that MR usually comes within 6 mths from the PER date. I have crossed 6 months and 15 days now.

this seems to be standard across all consultants. My consultant told me to wait for 3-4 months after medical. I assume they do that so that we do not bug them.

Dear Members,

Medicals done and third line updated in April. Waiting for PPR
Send PCCs and RPRF DD and received by NDVO in April.

My Passport is valid till Jan 2016.

The PCCs (India and Oman PCC) have my passport number on it

I want to know, If I renew my passport, will my PCCs are still valid or not, as I will get new passport with new passport number.

Secondly, as my third line is recently updated, Can I renew my passport now and send them via CSE, will it show any bad impression to the visa officer, as I did medicals and renewed the passport in such a short time.

Or Can I inform the VO about the renewal of passport after some time.

Should I postpone the renewal of the passport for a month

If you really feel that's necessary then there is no issues. The PCC required by the VO is to check that you do not have any criminal records as of now. Once you get your new passport the same has to be communicated to VO via CSE or by sending photo copies of the new passport with cover letter. They will accept it and it will not be considered as negative or will effect your application in any way....

It is required to have Passport 6 months valid at time of PPR ....So in your case PPR should occur before June 2014.....You should wait for PPR I personally think so....
When they ask for Passport then tell them the scenario..if required..Otherwise it will only dealy ur case by 1-2 months if passport is renewed..as it will add one more step.

Will there be any problem, if I renew my passport just 1 week after doing the medicals

Received the Medical receipts, PCCS, RPRF by NDVO and third line updated just a few days ago.

If I renew the passport now, will my case will be delayed, as the PCCs have old passport number, and it will be cancelled after renewal of passport.

When should I inform the VO about the renewal of passport (after getting PPR or just after renewal) - which one is the best option.

As I dont want to delay my processing.

i checked up with my consultant on why it is taking so long. and although their reply was standard there was this line which makes it even more amusing "The Delhi office also has been taking a bit longer to issue communication lately" . So even they are a bit surprised with NDVO.

As far i have seen few cases including me, they update the status in afternoon in between 3-5.

We also have a consultant but we raised a CSE last month, giving our email address instead of the consultant's e-mail. We haven't received the reply yet coz it says that we may or may not receive a reply if within the timelines. The reply will come within 30 working days.

Is it possible to raise a CSE? as I have applied thru consultant and he is representative...as we know that all the communication is done from their end...can I raise CSE? criminality check shows in progress for one country...other two countries it is clear...
