Is it possible to raise a CSE? as I have applied thru consultant and he is representative...as we know that all the communication is done from their end...can I raise CSE? criminality check shows in progress for one country...other two countries it is clear...

You can raise a CSE, quoting ur GCMS, saying that you have observed they are still waiting for ur Medicals....Whereas u sent it on this date....And attach the Scanned copy of the Receipts/ Emedical Tracking sheet...

I hope in Incoming Communications in GCMS Notes, it shows Medical Receipts received/uploaded on the date Hospital uploaded it/ u sent it...

Regarding PCC, u just need to check whether Criminality check completed for u and ur spouse....If yes no further worries...

Hi Friends,
I am planning to visit Canada from USA, for 2-3 days, to complete my landing formality. I have few doubts related to landing process & ll really appreciate if someone can guide on these:
(1) Can we show "US Bank Account statements" as Proof of funds at Canada port of entry? As I will be visiting for only 2-3 days & ll stay at my relatives, is it enuf to carry 500$ Canadian in cash and show the required settlement funds proof using US Bank statements!
(2) Is it required to fill/show: Goods Accompanying List. and Goods to Follow list(Form B4 / B4A) - at Canada port of entry?

Need some advice regarding the mailing address, my current mailing address with CIC is my consultant's address which is in Canada and I am residing in Kuwait, is there a need to inform CIC to change my mailing address to Kuwait to match the Airway Bill that I will include when I send our passports to Abu Dhabi and they will send this back to us in Kuwait. And it is indicated in the mail that they should be informed if there's any change to mailing address/email address/contact information.

Ah, that's why we have exactly the same words from your request to raise a status inquiry to CIC. We have the same consultant!

Anything more your consultant said about your application processing?

That all what the consultant had mentioned in the mail. They said we usually counsel our clients to be patient as every visa office works at a different pace. . They seem to have standard answers for each one's query. I was earlier told that MR usually comes within 6 mths from the PER date. I have crossed 6 months and 15 days now.

No need to do anything dear, just mention the address where u want it to be delivered after visa stamping, the passport is your property, it has nothing to do with consultant, and his address

I had a couple of queries , hope someone here will be able to guide

What if a person gets married after getting his visa but before landing in Canada.

1) Will his/her application go back to MR/PCC stage or any other stage ? Principal applicant will be asked to take MR again ??

2) Will the new visa issued to husband + wife be valid till 1 year from first MR or second MR, or separate validity will be applicable to each partner.

3) Is it better to go back to MR/PCC stage or should the principal applicant land there first and then call the partner after marriage ? How much time do both routes take

What is the need of renewing the passport as it is valid till Jan'2016.
If you really feel that's necessary then there is no issues. The PCC required by the VO is to check that you do not have any criminal records as of now. Once you get your new passport the same has to be communicated to VO via CSE or by sending photo copies of the new passport with cover letter. They will accept it and it will not be considered as negative or will effect your application in any way....

It is required to have Passport 6 months valid at time of PPR ....So in your case PPR should occur before June 2014.....You should wait for PPR I personally think so....
When they ask for Passport then tell them the scenario..if required..Otherwise it will only dealy ur case by 1-2 months if passport is renewed..as it will add one more step.
