Hello All!! I am a Sept 2014 applicant and received approval on 7th Jan 2015. PCC cleared on 13th Feb 2015. When will i get my medicals?
Is there any way to track the application online?

Hi Guys,

Can you please tell me if I can pay online the additional dependent fee for the new born baby into the mail application?

Thanks
Amit

Dear Members,

Medicals done in Feb and third line updated in April. Waiting for PPR
Send PCCs and RPRF DD and received by NDVO in April.

My Passport is valid till Jan 2016.

The PCCs (India and Oman PCC) have my passport number on it

I want to know, If I renew my passport, will my PCCs are still valid or not, as I will get new passport with new passport number.

Secondly, as my third line is recently updated, Can I renew my passport now and send them via CSE, will it show any bad impression to the visa officer, as I did medicals and renewed the passport in such a short time.

Or Can I inform the VO about the renewal of passport after some time.

Should I postpone the renewal of the passport for a month

Plz help me

Thank you sir

What is the need of renewing the passport as it is valid till Jan'2016.
If you really feel that's necessary then there is no issues. The PCC required by the VO is to check that you do not have any criminal records as of now. Once you get your new passport the same has to be communicated to VO via CSE or by sending photo copies of the new passport with cover letter. They will accept it and it will not be considered as negative or will effect your application in any way....

Cheers...

Go to Liquor store, buy a bottle of Jack Daniel's, have some and chill. After you receive AOR send them a letter signed by your employer that official no and include whatever info is changed on that letter and submit that via CSE. Nothing to worry about.

Guys this might be a dumb question but any idea what is difference between FSW1, FSW2 and FSW3? I read on some forum members timeline but not sure wht it means...

Category 1 (FSW 1): For persons in an occupation which corresponds to the list of occupations identified in the Ministerial Instructions and have evidence of one year of continuous full-time (or full-time equivalent) experience in that occupation;

Category 2 (FSW 2): For persons who have arranged employment offer with a Canadian employer; or

Category 3 (FSW 3): For students or workers who are legally residing in Canada, and have done so for at least 12 months immediately before submitting their application.

Category 3 (FSW 3): For students or workers who are legally residing in Canada, and have done so for at least 12 months immediately before submitting their application. This stream is dedicated to Canadian PhD students or graduates only

Applications from international students who are currently enrolled in a PhD program delivered by a provincially or territorially recognized private or public post-secondary educational institution located in Canada, who have completed at least two years towards their PhD, who are in good academic standing, and who are not recipients of a Government of Canada award requiring them to return to their home country to apply their knowledge and skills; (see footnote 3) or

ii. Applications from foreign nationals who have completed a PhD program from a provincially or territorially recognized private or public post-secondary educational institution located in Canada no more than 12 months prior to the date their application is received by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Applicants must not have received a Government of Canada award that required them to return to their home country to apply their knowledge and skills; or if they were a recipient of such an award, they must have satisfied the terms of the award. (see footnote 4)

In all cases, applicants meeting the criteria set out in Ministerial Instructions are still subject to the Federal Skilled Worker Class requirements and all other applicable requirements of the IRPA.

Hi Friends,
I am planning to visit Canada from USA, for 2-3 days, to complete my landing formality. I have few doubts related to landing process & ll really appreciate if you can guide on these:
(1) Is it required to fill/show: Goods Accompanying List. and Goods to Follow list(Form B4 / B4A) - at Canada port of entry, even if I will be visiting Canada for couple of days?
(2) Can we show "US Bank Account statements" as Proof of funds at Canada port of entry? I am thinking to carry 500$ Canadian in cash (just for 2-3 days) as I will be staying at my relatives. Will that be enuf?
(3) What all things, we need to be aware of during landing process..any link/references for more details.
(4) Lastly, while returning back to US, will we get a new I94 number (or will it be the same existing I94#) at US port of entry?
Please guide!!! Thanks much!!

Hi Guys,

I have a question. I am currently in Australia and my application was made in NEW DEHLI OFFICE. They have asked for my passport to be stamped, however, I am in a position in which I cannot travel. Is there a way I can get my passport stamped in Australia without travelling to NEW DELHI . Please let me know, thanks.
