Hello Seniors and Applicants,
I had a baby recently and I have prepared the documents for the baby and all the documents asked by NDVO and I have sent it to them.
I wanted to know after this what is next as my last update was in OCT 30th 2014 and at that time I had informed them about my wife's pregnancy. According to the previous questions I came to know that the delay is due to my baby rite?????????
Another thing is that for my baby i have paid the application fees through DD to NDVO so would it take the same amount of time as it takes for the applicants??????
What is the next step that would happen now as I completed what all I have been asked from them.....
Please do help me out...
:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

How much time it will take after 3rd line to passport request from London visa office?

It depends on a case to case basis however based on forum experiences it should be between 30 to 60 days

PCC and its importance
-------------------------

I hope this information listed here will relieve much anxiety

After our medicals are updated the next big thing to clear is security clearance .VO will initate crimnality/security check and will need PCC from applicants to clear the next stage.

Now that we know the importance of it and here are the 2 stage where it is asked for

PCC is asked at the following stages

1. At the initial application filing stage

2. At the medicals stage.

If the PCC has been sent between these 2 stages you might be asked for PCC again .

At the moment I dont think there is a process setup at VO to track the PCC which is sent between these 2 stages.

PCC validity is 1 year from the day you get it .

I am sure there are many who have sent the PCC listening to thier consultants in between the stages and end upliving in anixiety and fear as NDVO would have asked PCC again and to get PCC can be great pain again .

Now to fix this situation people/consultants do this ""we had sent PCC on so so date (in the cover letter at the time of submission of docs after mr )and your office recived it here is the scanned copy of the PCC and courier reciepts confirming the delivery"

Our dear NDVO however does respond to people if they had sent case specific enquiriy stating -we have recieved your pcc and it has been placed with your existing file .

Best practice:

Due to the nature of getting PCC it is advisable that whenever you apply for PCC ensure you get two copies 1 for yourself and 1 for VO.

Never send PCC(APART FROM THE TWO STAGES LISTED ABOVE) unless it is been asked by VO .

Best practice is to obtain PCC just before the medical stage say 1 month prior and keep it ready when MR request comes.

On why not to send PCC during application stage :If the application process is likely to get delayed say 1 year where in you get MR request and your pcc validity is over

Its always better to leave a CSE when you are worried with all necessary details (NDVO will respond if its genuine reason )

---------------------------
Disclaimer: Its my opinion

Dear MDV,

I have a difference of opinion.......I would like to share my experience:

1. I have sent PCC of India (on which it was clearly written the validity is 6 months as issued by District Magistrate), and 2 other countries as well.

2. I submitted PCC (3rd country) after getting PER and before getting MR with other updates like Job change, Addition of my daughter in the application and foreign travel and job in another country (4 country).

3. On receipt of my medicals they asked me PCC of India and PCC of 4 country in which I am residing now (excluding 3 country). That means that the PCC submitted between PER and MR was accepted by NDVO. So the PCC sent between the processes is acceptable by NDVO.

Hope this clarifies all the doubts.....

Cheers.....Keep up the good work....
