Dear All

Please advise for below!

We went for medical for my wife who is the primary applicant and myself.

My wife is 2 months pregnant due to which her thyroid is coming high upto 7. She is on medicine for past 1 month.

She conveyed the same to the doctor who advised her to test everymonth which we will do.

Will this impact our application. For myself i have high bilurubin by birth which i conveyed to the doctor. He wrote it in remarks.

Is there a problem??? Please advise does the above impact medical conditions. Rest all tests were fine and should not be a problem

If they upload the results to CIC, they have the understanding that the IME findings will be acceptable as per CIC admissibility standards. Rarely, RMO asks for further tests.

It takes a few seconds to login, click your status and logout. Let's say 5 seconds. There are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day for a total of 86,400 seconds in a day. That's 17,280 times a day if you do not interrupt your checking with petty annoyances like eating, sleeping, bathing and sex. If you are fast you may be able to push it 20,000 times a day and if you are slow or you are on dial-up internet you may only be able to achieve 10,000 times per day. Records were made to be broken, go for it!

You will need to send by mail a Fee payment form either with a DD enclosed or CC details.

Hi Diplomatru/bombardier,

I went through the online link provided in the email from NDVO for adding the new child

https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

and was on the page to pay the $150 fees under "Family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19 due to a physical or mental condition "

I guess it should be the same as paying the RPRF fees

P.S. I am in the same boat for adding my daughter to the application and right now in dilemma, whether to pay online or via DD

PCC and its importance
-------------------------

I hope this information listed here will relieve much anxiety

After our medicals are updated the next big thing to clear is security clearance .VO will initate crimnality/security check and will need PCC from applicants to clear the next stage.

Now that we know the importance of it and here are the 2 stage where it is asked for

PCC is asked at the following stages

1. At the initial application filing stage

2. At the medicals stage.

If the PCC has been sent between these 2 stages you might be asked for PCC again .

At the moment I dont think there is a process setup at VO to track the PCC which is sent between these 2 stages.

PCC validity is 1 year from the day you get it .

I am sure there are many who have sent the PCC listening to thier consultants in between the stages and end upliving in anixiety and fear as NDVO would have asked PCC again and to get PCC can be great pain again .

Now to fix this situation people/consultants do this ""we had sent PCC on so so date (in the cover letter at the time of submission of docs after mr )and your office recived it here is the scanned copy of the PCC and courier reciepts confirming the delivery"

Our dear NDVO however does respond to people if they had sent case specific enquiriy stating -we have recieved your pcc and it has been placed with your existing file .

Best practice:

Due to the nature of getting PCC it is advisable that whenever you apply for PCC ensure you get two copies 1 for yourself and 1 for VO.

Never send PCC(APART FROM THE TWO STAGES LISTED ABOVE) unless it is been asked by VO .

Best practice is to obtain PCC just before the medical stage say 1 month prior and keep it ready when MR request comes.

On why not to send PCC during application stage :If the application process is likely to get delayed say 1 year where in you get MR request and your pcc validity is over

Its always better to leave a CSE when you are worried with all necessary details (NDVO will respond if its genuine reason )

Hi friends,

I am a july 2014 applicant. got my medical request on 20th feb. medicals done on 25th feb. 3rd lime update on 13th march ,2015. still waiting for DM status. Can someone guide me as to how long will it take from here to get PPR.

Secondly, I am in canada, so i might have to raise a request for stamping in ottawa, but as per previous posts, nobody ever mentioned that they got any reply back from NDVO regarding queries raised. Do they even reply?

Thanks in advance
Amit

a. DM/PPR can come anywhere between 30-60-90 days after 3rd line...
b. Your PPR Request Mail from NDVO will contain instructions to submit to CPC-O if ur already in Canada...So no issues :)

You are not paying for a Family class application. Yours is Economic class. FSW applicants were unable to pay online the Cost recovery fee at the time of CIO submission, and are still unable to do so. Complete the Payment form I mentioned in an early post and send it to NDVO. That's the only way.

I posted in another thread and posting here as well since I am getting impatient now :(

ECAS changed to Decision Made on March 10th and still no PPR email, called call center earlier and the representative mentioned they might be working on your file. Emailed and received a reply your file processing is within the process time limit. Its almost month and half and what are they doing with my file?

Is there any way I can get more information on why its taking so long for DM to PPR?

They are doing background check related to your employment and education history to pass a selection decision. Once your eligibility is confirmed you will receive MR, RPRF, PCC request and they will begin other admissibility assessments.
