As you all know, that cic gives 30 days to do medicals, submit results and pay RPRF. Does it also means that our 3rd line should be update within those 30 days?? Please guide..

We are preparing for a short landing in May.
We will open an account with HSBC Canada from Dubai and transfer proof of funds to this account .But this account can be activated only after
we personally visit HSBC Canada branch and the account statement will not be available till this time.
Can we show the receipt of fund transfer to the immigration officer and will it be accepted as proof of funds ?
We will be carrying some cash for immediate use...Kindly advice

Hi Eridan,

Why you think it will have hole. Also travel using old passport having visa is allowed..
For more information it is advisable to check with your local visa office and passport authorities

hello my 3rd is updated.

i had submitted additional reports were sent to CDC on Dec 2nd and i sent my complete package of RPRF, PP copies & Medical Acknowledgements on Dec 8. I saw the 3rd line on 1st Jan 2015 but then between 8th Dec 2014 and 1st Jan 2015 i had not checked the ECAS. So i am assuming that sometime between 2nd & 3rd Week of Dec my 3rd line must have got updated.

No, they must receive your medicals and RPRF within that period of time. Your 3rd line can be updated later.

I am currently working as a teacher with about 10+ years of experience.
I understand that Canada will still have to evaluate my credentials. And to work as a teacher, I might need to have to apply for certification.
Since my documents are currently being reviewed, can i already apply now for teacher certification?
I am planning to apply as a teacher in Calgary.

I do hope someone can enlighten me on this.

How much time does it takes to get teacher certification? If it takes 1 - 2 months, then I will suggest you to wait till you receive your medicals. If it will take like 3 - 4 months then you can start it.

Singapore PCC was required for me only. I don't know why they spoke to my wife.
