One question on below point -

3. My spouse traveled to US and stayed there for more than six months. So as per mail I need to provide PCC from INDIA and US for my spouse. I have already made a request in Jan for PCC from FBI. But I could not receive the PCC yet from FBI. I am having PCC from respective states. Will that work? As per mail "Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate."

My question is for USA PCC. I am having PCC from the states visited by my spouse. Will that work or I need to get the PCC from FBI only.

Congrats on your Meds.

To your doubts -
1) RPRF is not to be paid for kids. Hence only for you and your wife.
2) Med emails are received for each applicant seperately and VO advises a 48 hr wait before your reach out to them. So give it time till tomorrow EOD.
3) When submitting all docs, mention on a covering letter the delay regarding FBI PCC. VO will give you the required time. For India, One nation one PCC is how it is. So dont send it from all states. Send the one which is most recent and that's it.
4) Send copy of old passport bio pages where the cancelled stamp is there and also the new passport. In the covering letter mention thsi change too.
5) MR in Delhi, I suggest Max Panchsheel. Google to get their contact and book and appointment. No doc in specific.
6) Yes, assume interview is waived off. That 99.99% the case.

Hello guys!

Need help. Got PPR from Ottawa office on 03/25 and need to send it asap. I live in USA and according to CIC instructions I need to buy paid shipping label from Canada Post. Did anyone send it? Do I need to buy a label for shipping back to my USA address? And then include it in my courier to CIC along with passport.

Kanika- not sure if you have already sent your passport.
In order to print return canadapost label, give "from" address as YOUR NAME, 365 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa ON K1A1L1
and "To" address will be your USA address.

I did the same on suggestion from other experts on this forum and now just waiting for visa stamped passports.

If you are planning for short landing, you should not take Health Insurance, if you have plan to migrate after a year or so,
as you wont be able to fulfill the eligibility requirements by not being present in Canada. You should apply for Health Insurance after migrating permanently.
It is a rear case that there will be problem with PR card.but in case you have, you need to have Travel document from Immigration before leaving Canada and can enter Canada by road (i.e. From USA). Just search it, you will find the info.

Question:-

I am planning to visit canada for a week and come back, where i am planning to apply for my PR Card, Health insurance and SIN. (Please suggest if I forget something else).

Just came to know in CIIP programme, that one should be in Canada to take in person the PR card to avoid risk like
- they may require your photo again (the one which you provided earlier may be clear according to them).
- Signature are not clear.

(First I would like to know, whether this kind if cases occur, where they call again to get new picture or sign again).

As I said earlier, I will be there for a week, so not be able to take PR Card with me, I am going to give my friend's address (local) for mailing my PR card to him.
