kindly answer this question

i am planning to fly to toronto in mid may 2015 and have unsold property which has a court case going on for eviction of tenants. due to this fact i will not be able to sell this property before leaving. i will come back once i recieve the PR card and sell it off. how can i bring that money in Canada without getting taxed as i would have already landed. can i inform canadian customs when i land or whats the procedure for it. experienced members who have already landed pls share your views

NDVO Applicants from USA

I got the PPR request from NDVO on 10th March. I had no one who could take my passports and get it back from India. I directly without consulting NDVO sent my passports to CPC Ottawa from USA and got the stamping done. My passports reached on 18-March and I got my passports back on 4-Apr. If you are in USA and if your PPR email says if you are in Canada ... blah blah, just go ahead and send your passports to Canada.

You can print the shipping label from Cananda Post. Once your documents and passports are ready, CPC Ottawa sends the email with instructions on how to create a shipping label.

CPC Ottawa can do stamping and send passports only for applicants who reside in USA and Canada

I have a query. My frd has done payment of RPRF hrough his frd credit card. The receipt has generated but at receipt, name of his friend is showing. Kindly suggest.

No issues. Ask ur frnd to fill the Name, UCI, Address fields details in the Receipt...The payer name can be different, it is also mentioned in the bottom of the receipt

It's perfectly fine. The name shown is the person who has paid it. Your friend can mention the UCI number & other details along with the name and send it. The UCI number is the one which is used to tie the documents together

I will let the seniors send their comments. But my 2 cents - you can mention the approx value of this land and carry a copy of the title papers of the land with you. This will establish your source of this income and also be an evidence when you need bring in the amount at a later point in time.

thanks for your reply but there are columns: Client DOB, Client Id, Address, Postal Code and Telephone Number.

UCI number will be enter at Client Id column.. Where to enter the name

There is also one more column Name but at this column the name of his frd is showing.

You can enter name just below the UCI number even though the field is not there...it is optional, if u want u can write name as well

Hello Seniors,

I just saw an email which I received on 1st April, requesting for medical, PCC and RPRF. I need your suggestion to proceed further, as my marriage is planned in last week of April.

Please let me know whether I need to inform CIC right away about my marriage and parallely submit the docs (last day of submission is 1st of May). Or submit the docs and upon marriage inform CIC.

your quick response will help me in planning for required docs submittion.

It may delay your case but it is better to add spouse before getting visa
When you are getting married...
You have to inform about change in family if you want to add member(spouse)..
After getting married do inform about the change...inform them via cse about your marriage..they will send you list of required documents ..
Meanwhile be ready with
Marriage certificate
Wedding photographs
Spouse pcc
Spouse passport
Updated forms
Updated pof..

No you don't need to pay any fees now. The only amount to be paid is the VFS charges. That comes to about 575/passport. Only cash is accepted and so please plan to carry the same.
The photographs - 1 needs to have the stamp of studio along with the date of photograph for all applicants

Hello there, I do understand what you are going through and i would like to tell you that each application is treated differently, Some might get the process done very fast and some might get it very late it all depends on the amount of international travels you made companies you have worked etc. Have patience and wait, meanwhile do check your job title cap date.

I am also going through the same prolonged waiting period. I lived in China for about three and a half years and have provided PCC of China along with the final application. do you have any idea that how this China PCC can affect the processing of my application.

Please, revert as this waiting period for DM is killing me.
