I'm planning to send my documents to NDVO today.
If u could please suggest do I have to send coloured photocopy of passports and get them notorized. Its no where mentioned in the email from ndvo though however our consultant suggested.
Please guide me through
Thanks a lot

Color photo copies is fine, but they need not be notarized my friend.

I have done the same.

Hi All,

Just wanted to ask 1 thing.. I received the PPR on 20-Mar-15 and I have submitted the same thru VFS on 23-Mar-15.. But since then it is under process only.. Is it normal?

In the meanwhile I have also applied the visitor visa for my father.. Is co-related? Because I think it is taking more than normal time in issuing the PR visa.. Pls suggest..

Earlier the passport stamping used to take 7 - 10 days. These days, It's around 20 - 25 days.

One of my friends who sent their passport on 16th March got it back on 2nd April while another friend who sent it on the same day is still waiting for them.

Could you please share which air line you booked tickets with ? Also, the best of carry Proof of funds and any specific information ? thanks in advance and best of luck !

we are flying with Qatar Airways from Cochin and then Air Canada from London to Edmonton...

regarding proof of funds, we contacted Kotak bank who are partners to Scotia Bank in Canada. Once we get the COPR, we should be able to open an account with Scotia Bank (thru Kotak of course), and then deposit the money to our new Scotia bank a/c...
