Its exactly 3 months after 2nd line update and no MR till now. I think its over for me or is there any hope? If my file is rejected how would i know? They send an email or what? please suggest... really worried.....

Gorkhe

Just to echo that the spreadsheet is the best place to analyze the trend among members here. I see cases with 4-5 months' gap between AOR and MR but after MR it took a darn short time to get to DM. Cases do vary but you get a feel on the overall processing time. Safe to be around the median point but naturally many wish to join the fastest processing group. But the fact is there are always slow processing cases, which in turn blend nicely with the fast ones to make the average as we all see. And one thing to note is we are all in a queue, if the person in front of us is taking a bit longer time than usual, we may get delayed accordingly. If you look into past programs, there was a huge backlog in the processing, despite lower caps. I read that in FSW2014, CIC made an effort in improving their VO processing time and though it's still a case-by-case situation, the overall speed is observed as making a big improvement. This benefits us all and we should be happy about it. So, don't you worry too much. Just take a deep breath and wait. ;D

Gorkhe Bhai !!

I got second line on 23rd September 2014, and MR on 25th March 2015.

My friends(close to 150 in number) are waiting even longer.

So sit tight, its very easy said than done...but request you to pray , pray and pray for success...

cheers :)

Indresh83: Dude when did you receive your PER? What was the time lag between PER and 2nd line update?

No need.....If its an Emedical Center, its the Hospital which has the duty to upload the results....In fact u shud see the 3rd line of update 7-10 days after Hospital uploads to CHC (if ur VO is NDVO) irresp of u sending the receipts or not..If u see the wording in your letter- "Please complete or provide proof of completion for Medicals....."..So sending receipts and Emedical tracking sheets to CHC is actually optional for E-medical centers..:)..Since u have already submitted it's fine no need to submit again...

Thanks a lot bro for your suggestion

Congrats & welcome to the wait for DM and PPR

Do you usually check your ECAS all the time, and you just saw the update now?
Or you haven't checked for a while before checking now?
Am just asking cuz I assumed they are off, so no updates will be made ;D

Hello Seniors,

I just saw an email which I received on 1st April, requesting for medical, PCC and RPRF. I need your suggestion to proceed further, as my marriage is planned in last week of April.

Please let me know whether I need to inform CIC right away about my marriage and parallely submit the docs (last day of submission is 1st of May). Or submit the docs and upon marriage inform CIC.

your quick response will help me in planning for required docs submittion.
Congratulations for ur medicals, according to me if you do your medicals this week and send them then roughly it takes max two months for you to get the visa stamped according to the ndvo trend now,and again wish you happy wedding after one month, but if you get married then you have to inform vo about that as it is very hard to get visa for you before marriage as its just a month and you have not done with your medicals,so you have to inform them about marriage and if you do so then you have to wait for another 6 months roughly as you have to gather all your wifes documents marriage certificate and funds in bank and pay the fees then the process begin your wife gets medicals then againyou know all the procees repeats, but if you inform them after your visa and if your marriage date is before visa stamped then its highly impossible to get your wife with you to canada as it comes under misrep so my suggestion is if you can postpone your marriage date after your visa and landing then you take your wife, postponing the marriage is hard i know orelse inform the vo about marriage and then wait for few more months and then get the visa, its all depends upon you how you want it to be done.
its completely my view and opinion any one else might have different suggestions, afterall its your choice

NDVO Applicants from USA

I got the PPR request from NDVO on 10th March. I had no one who could take my passports and get it back from India. I directly without consulting NDVO sent my passports to CPC Ottawa from USA and got the stamping done. My passports reached on 18-March and I got my passports back on 4-Apr. If you are in USA and if your PPR email says if you are in Canada ... blah blah, just go ahead and send your passports to Canada.

You can print the shipping label from Cananda Post. Once your documents and passports are ready, CPC Ottawa sends the email with instructions on how to create a shipping label.

CPC Ottawa can do stamping and send passports only for applicants who reside in USA and Canada

Thanks alot buddy for sharing this information.

Hi All,

Just wanted to ask 1 thing.. I received the PPR on 20-Mar-15 and I have submitted the same thru VFS on 23-Mar-15.. But since then it is under process only.. Is it normal?

In the meanwhile I have also applied the visitor visa for my father.. Is co-related? Because I think it is taking more than normal time in issuing the PR visa.. Pls suggest..
