Did you get a passport request or just Decision made , If you have completed canada visa medicals recently for WorkPermit ects then you will not get a medical reqest

Submitted to VFS jalandhar on 19 march.

How many days it takes for the 3rd line to update once u r done with the medicals? Once the medical results are uploaded by the hospital. On an average, It takes around 7 - 10 days. There are some applicants who received the 3rd line after 30 - 60 days.
Does RPRF and other docs are mandatory to be sent to NDVO(i knw it needs to be sent within 30 days of getting MR request) to get ur 3rd line updated or it only depends upon the medicals? Not for 3rd line update. Anyways you will need those docs as requested by VO

Me and my wife completed our medicals (e-medical center) on 28th march but still there is no third line updated.We have already taken the update from our respective hospitals that our reports have been uploaded : Give it another 3- 4 days

Thanks for clarifying.. useful for all of us.. Just wanted to know one more thing.. In any stage if you order for GCMS notes we would keep getting the update, or it is one time report and we have to pay again if we needed to know the status in some next stages. Kindly advise.

You can apply as many times as you want for GCMS, though sensible use of this process is required, plus there will be a fee each time

It depends and I don't know the criteria. I guess it's related with the time needed by the VO to process/look on your application.
In my case it took 135 days from "medical received" until I received the e-mail with PPR (and payment for the residence fee).
Don't panic and wait. If the status is "in process" , all is going to be fine Be optimistic!

Hello guys,
My update below:

Category........: FSW
Visa Office......: Bucharest
App. Filed.......: 09-06-2014
Nomination.....: 30-10-2014
Med's Done....: 19-11-2014;
Passport Req: 03.04.2015

Next week I'll send the Passport with pictures and residence payment proof to the embassy by VAC, and then I'll wait about 3 weeks.
Hope to get the visa soon

just wait for 3-4 days and check your emails if you receive medical request or not...else raise a CSE...also send your Passport as u received the request...

No...it is not mandatory but recommended...though you can have coffee or tea in the morning...better avoid any food...

Since your blood is going to be analysed it is mandatory (at least in my country) to fast the day of the examination.

My ECAS status updated to third line today, ie my medical results have been received.

1. Does that mean everything was fine with my medical tests and I've cleared?
2. What's the average time to receive PPR after the third line update?
3. After how much time does the visa office return passport with visa?

My visa office is New Delhi. Would highly appreciate answers. Thanks a million in advance!
