in the instruction email the told me to attach and send it to the following email CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca, however some friends told me that i have to send it to the following email
CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca ,,,, plz help

App date: August 29th 2014.
CC charge: Nov 19th 2014.
Per Date: Dec 18th 2014.
Second processing date: March 11th 2015.
Medicals date: March 31st 2015.

Great news, I just received CoPR from Vienna, the only thing to do now is to land in Canada. I can confirm that for Croatians there is no need to send the passports in, it is only for countries who`s citizens requires visa.
I will update spreadsheet later. Good Luck to all of you.

I would suggest follow the instruction you received from VO,

to be on safer side send it to both email id's . it wont cost anything

How many days will it take now to have DM & PPR??

With god!s grace received my passport n CPR today dispatched from delhi on 02 april,
Submitted to VFS jalandhar on 19 march.

Medical done on 12 march, 3rd line updated March 31

My pasport will expire on march 1st, 2016, shall i renew passport or not

I feel that, if i renew pasport, i will get visa valid till march 31, 2016 else till march 1st, 2016 only,

If i dont renew, and visa stamped before august 2015, I should renew in canada.

If renewed visa stamp will be on new passport, will it be any problem

what are the pros and cons

you should renew your passport now and get the visa on the renewed pp. in order to have an international itinerary you are required to have a passport with atleast 6 months validity.. so, if you get the visa on your current pp, you will have to do your landing till september 1, 2015 if you prefer the port of entry as airport.

Some of us are near PPR and nervous and excited too, lets be optimistic and trust God, things would work out and we would reach our Dreamland. One Important thing is to be prepared and knowledgeable for the situation we would soon be in once we are there. Lets plan and guide each other on how to get started in Canada. How to Find jobs. How much time it would take. Which survival job can we get into at the earliest to pay our expenses. And alll such things.

My Suggestion from the all what i have heard and read:-
1. There are number of courses(Security, Cleaning, Cooking, Gardening etc) which range from a few days to months which can get you into basic survival jobs, after you get licenece for following jobs
2. There are number of other jobs which you can get as a matter of luck/coincidence/requirement such as Mcdonalds/Coffee Shops which do not require any course and you can get these if they have requirements
3. For all jobs you have to get SIN number which you can appy for at the airport itself or later at Service Canada office
4. You have to open a bank A/c which can be opened after you get SIN number
5. If you want to get into jobs of your field you have to do some courses(which you can do part time at weekends or full time if you have no hurry to get into jobs)
* Be confident and you would get whatever you want but dont hesitate and be reluctant to get into any job opportunity that comes your way.
If everyone shares his her knowledge and experience we would all be better prepared for the next phase of our lifes.

Hi Seniors

I have 2 passports.
When sending the passports to NDVO for stamping do I need to send both the passports ( old + current )
or do I need to just send the current passport ?
Please advice ?

One needs to only submit the latest passport. No need of the old one... i have applied and received my Visa.

Congratulations to all those who have successfully sailed through this process of never ending wait. I received my PER on Feb 19. Desperately waiting for MR request. I have heard that 2nd line in ECAS gets updated as "We have started processing your application on (date)" few days before you receive the medical request. Is this true? I regularly track my application but no 2nd line update. This wait is killing me. Really appreciate all of you for being so patient and helpful all the time.

Hi,

Second line updates when your file is assigned to a Visa Officer and the Visa Officer starts processing your file (Screening all the docs that you have submitted and background check). Once he is satisfied with that, he will issue MR......From 2nd line update to MR the wait time varies from 1 to 60 days.....
