Dude,
quick question!
When submitting passports, what other documents have you carried?
Also have you submitted passports on behalf of your family or does your family needs to be there?

Hi Dude,

Documents I carried were->
The passport, the photos (with date of photo and address of photo studio on the back of one), the printout of the Passport Request Letter from NDVO, and the table of Family Info which was sent in the PPR Mail (I created the table in Word and typed my info)

You need to pay Rs. 579 in cash (only) at VFS..Suggest you carry change as well :)

Since I'm a single applicant your 2nd question doesn't apply but other members have reported that you can submit your family members' passports as well- you need to however carry an Authorization Letter from them..Suggest you contact alwaysonnet once he can help u...

Hi Guys, juz curious to know in general how many days does NDVO take to open the additional documents packet.

We mentioned "ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS" on the packet so that they understand it quickly.

NDVO called and asked us to send the new renewed PP copy of my spouse (that is getting expired on 27-Sep-2015) and we have sent it on 20-Mar-2015.

No news yet...waiting waiting waiting............ :(

Please suggest.

Cheers,
Prarthu

Hi friends

Yesterday, I went to panel physician for furtherance medical examination for my daughter. They were having some doubts in her X-Rays.Chest physician advised CT scan and not satisfied with the scan report.Further, he advised to have some Sputum Culture tests on the basis of white spots/patches in both the lungs.Though my daughter is not having any problem or any signs and symptoms of respiratory disease.

A sputum tests report come after 60-90 days.I need your expertise on the following questions:-
Why the procedure is so lengthy?
If the reports will be positive, there will be refusal to all of us.(Myself,Wife and Son).
Is it possible to process the file of principle applicant right now & rest after medical results?
When do I except my visa as I am July 16 applicant?

here are replies to your queries :

Why the procedure is so lengthy? - this is a standard protocol followed by canadian immigration as sputum culture tests come after 8 weeks & a second xray can be done only after a gap of 3 months. there is nothing to worry, if there are no symptoms of any disease, the tests will come negative.
If the reports will be positive, there will be refusal to all of us.(Myself,Wife and Son). - no, since these tests are primarily done to rule out TB, even is the results come positive, you will be given a further time of about 6 months to get your daughter treated and then come back for the medical
Is it possible to process the file of principle applicant right now & rest after medical results? - NO
When do I except my visa as I am July 16 applicant? - once you are over with your medicals

Not sure why you were not asked to provide that info in a table. I got it on my PPR request on March 18. Its at the bottom of the email main matter.
Its a standard info which will be required to mention in the COPR documents of applicant and all dependants later like eye color and height.

Thanks for the reply sdhar. As My email didnt have any such requirement, I didnt send any family info. I just wish we get our stamped PP`s soon. Its been 17 days . :(

Hey dear, I have submitted Passport of both of us,2 photos of each and PPR Mail copy.

As you got pp`s back without sending any family info, I`m also expecting my pp`s soon. There are some cases where they don`t ask for family info chart. Feels a bit relaxed to see similar cases. Thanks a lot for replying.

Who recommends to do the Spuctum test - CIC or the Medical test centre?

My husband was cured of TB 4 years back.

We did medicals yesterday and the X ray did not show any signs of TB.

But later when we showed the previous medical reports, the doctor wrote "Auto B grade" on the form. He said that even though the X Ray does not show any signs at all , he might have to do a Spuctum test and the processing will get delayed.

Anyone who had TB history and not advised to take the Spuctum test???

For Medical,

If it's an E-medical center, you do not need to submit any photos...They only will take the photos at the Medical Center...

if X-ray is clear and you have provided all the previous treatment records, then you will be cleared after review by CIC

Then you can submit photos taken in July 14...Only during PPR, you should take fresh photos as per these guidelines->
