Hi friends

Yesterday, I went to panel physician for furtherance medical examination for my daughter. They were having some doubts in her X-Rays.Chest physician advised CT scan and not satisfied with the scan report.Further, he advised to have some Sputum Culture tests on the basis of white spots/patches in both the lungs.Though my daughter is not having any problem or any signs and symptoms of respiratory disease.

A sputum tests report come after 60-90 days.I need your expertise on the following questions:-
Why the procedure is so lengthy?

C'mon this is a medical procedure...Suggest you read up on Sputum test- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sputum_culture

Also read up on Canada Physicians' instructions- what checks they have to complete here (would give you a better understanding what they r looking at)->
http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/index.asp#app4
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_Tuberculosis.pdf

If the reports will be positive, there will be refusal to all of us.(Myself,Wife and Son).

No, there will be treatment for your daughter then once she is TB-Free, all ur cases will be processed together successfully :)

Is it possible to process the file of principle applicant right now & rest after medical results?

No, your entire file remains on hold until Medicals are cleared for every member

When do I except my visa as I am July 16 applicant?

Suggest you send PCCs (if applicable), pay RPRFs and everything else required..So that simultaneously NDVO can process Security, Background checks and Criminality Checks and complete them...Your file is on hold at least for 2 more months..Then provided your daughter's TB-tests come negative you should get the PPR within 15-30 days after Medicals are completed....

All the best...And suggest you to contact other forum members who have gone through exactly similar situation as yours..rajneeshv, manish baissoya and others....:)

Agree with the above. Also look it from the positive angle. Worst case scenario, if your daughter has TB then you would have never detected it, if not for this MR. Everything is for good and so keep calm. All will go well

Hi Guys I have a query

I completed my medical tests yesterday and also paid the RPRF fee online.

Now I have an acknowledgement and fee receipts of medical tests and a receipt for RPRF payment.

Pl.guide which documents should I submit to VO. Any additional documents / things to be mentioned apart from the above mentioned?

Shall I courier them or scan and email?

Send them by courier. You need to send the following:
- medicals completed acknowledgement
- RPRF Fee payment receipt
- passport bio pages for all
- PCC (if asked)
- Any additional documents they have requested

Why the procedure is so lengthy?
This is because, since its a culture test and TB bacilli takes very long time to grow. The bacteria takes atleast 4 weeks to grow, and further 4-6 weeks for course of action, if the culture is found positive.
If the reports will be positive, there will be refusal to all of us.(Myself,Wife and Son).
Not refusal, if it would be positive than ur son will be treated for the same, time varries 6-9 months (if found TB positive) otherwise with a small course of antibitiocs, and will be given visa thereafter
Is it possible to process the file of principle applicant right now & rest after medical results?
It is not possible now. Primary applicant will also be given PR concurrently with all dependents
When do I except my visa as I am July 16 applicant?
I think you got your answer.

Responses given in text. You should not be worried of. Be optimistic, nothing will be find. However, the process will delay your PR. Its better to give the sample at the earliest, if not given.

That is correct. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

No RPRF for your daughter

Refer to this new cool link : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=IN&lob=rprf

Thank you Bro :)

I sent Email twice Time but no any action i checked personally mailbox of my consultant but no email was there so now just waiting and waiting

Hi Amzz,

I missed your post earlier...I hope you are aware of Brother ashif_ee's case...SGVO sent MR, RPRF to him, he didn't receive; he raised GCMS separately-> results came 30 days later in that he saw that the VO had already sent MR, and 45 days' deadline time to submit was also over :o..He immediately contacted SGVO referring to GCMS...They reverted again and gave a new deadline of another 30 days'...So he was lucky but most importantly he came to know what was happening with his file through GCMS....

My point is the VOs are also human, and even they can make mistakes sometimes...witness NDVO sending PPRs thrice to a single applicant, sending PPR to an applicant without MR/ RPRF all reported in the last few days...

Strongly advise you to raise GCMS Notes immediately, it will come after 30 days' but at least you will be reassured whether any outgoing correspondence was sent by the VO after ur Decision Made...

All the best!!
