At what stage of application can you say your interview is waived?

When you receive MR? OR When you receive PCC? OR When you receive RPRF? or When you receive Passport Request?
Mostly it is after medical/rprf request when background checks are over. however for surely after passport request.

Once you have completed landing in Canada.

For friends who like me have been trying to struggle to find a viable solution to carry Settlement funds.

Excluding the option to open a bank account, I found that HDFC Prepaid forex card is a inexpensive solution too.
http://hdfcbank.com/personal/products/cards/prepaid-cards/forexplus-card

125 INR is the charge for the card and 2 CAD fees for withdrawl from ATM.
Question to folks in Canada - How much does an ATM remit in a single go? In India, it's INR 10,000.

The other option is of travellers cheque but they one HDFC offers is charging .75% Which for 10Lac INR translates to Rs. 7500. Found that to be steep.

Hope this helps.

Guys who have received PPR on 31-March...

1. Was there any attachment (.pdf) along with the email.
2. Apart from the main applicants name the email does not mention any dependents name or UCI information. It just mentions the application number and primary applicant's name.

Pls confirm.

Thanks for the info on hdfc card. I too found travel card a cheaper option to carry money and withdraw after landing to deposit in bank account.
What I found is that withdrawal limit varies across ABMs of different banks and is as per the daily limit set by the bank. e.g. Scotia bank's website shows maximum cash limit at ABM as $1000
Some other bank has $500 per transaction. Further it is lesser in non account bank ABMs
