Just wanted to check, has anyone received any update from CVO till date, regarding second line / MR etc...?

I am wondering which date applications is CVO working upon, as I hardly see any updates related to CVO in this forum..

Hi friend, I can tell you that around 16 guys have received the MR's (whose file were transferred to CVO) till saturday, their AOR date was somewhere in Feb... there is a seperate thread for CVO guys you can join that and also a watsapp group with some 50 people (and they are all cool yeah!)... I recommend you join them the admin is a Gentleman NIKUNJ NAYAK.....

besides the processing for local Sri Lankan applicants is reeeeeeealy fast.... guys are getting MR only after 25 dys of PER date... Crazy haan?

I seriously think that this is the opportunity to update them, the logic behind waiting till MR is that since you're sending the MR docs you can send other docx aswell, but now that they want more info from you it will be a good idea to update them about the changes (besides you have a new PP) so I think you should update then ASAP incase of the PP thing

Got a reply of acceptance from CIC ( along with a application number and a mention that my DD had been cashed)

What next?

I loged into the CIC site and it says my application is IN PROCESS

Please help by explaining the process and timelines ....

As per my observation of this forum.. Below are the list of NDVO applicants who received Decision Made between 20th to 26th March 2015 but still waiting for PPR and of-course I am one of them... May be NDVO shower's of PPR's hit us today and tomorrow... If any of the below mentioned applicant received PPR ,, plz plz let all of us know.... and of-course candidate who have received DM and are not in the list can continue this chain...

1. One country one pcc.
2. Your friend can pay rprf for you online.
3. Pcc from any one state is fine. Both not required
4. Medicals can be done anywhere with panel physician. Check with hospital directly to see whether they are e-enabled.

correct me if I'm wrong seniors...the email you got was the PER. When you click on "In Process" you probably see one line "we have received your application on ...." after a month or two (I think two is more probable) you may see a second line (we have started processing your application" which is good news and normally after a month from the second line you will receive MR via email and maybe updates on your documents (PCC or other things depending on your VO). so you do the medical tests and around 10 ten days or even more of sending the medical results (done by your doctor) you will see a third line "medical results have been received" now you should wait for PPR. of course somewhere between the MR and PPR your should pay your RPRF! you can always look at the left of forum members to see their timeline and compare!

In the letter, dated 20 January 2015, they have sent with the returned application, its mentioned ''Should you choose to resubmit your application, please include this letter with your application''.

Do you have any ideas on what to do now? Does he need to just put a different credit card number and send his app again? or he need to reapply from the first stage?

NDVO guys are very lucky...Accra Visa Office is still working on May/June applicants

In the letter, dated 20 January 2015, they have sent with the returned application, its mentioned ''Should you choose to resubmit your application, please include this letter with your application''.

Do you have any ideas on what to do now? Does he need to just put a different credit card number and send his app again? or he need to reapply from the first stage?

I recently got my VISA.

However there are some questions that i like to raise:
1) I have placed the intented destination as Alberta ,Edmonton and The COPR also states the same. However with the current recession in alberta, I am changing my mind and would like to go either to vancouver and toronto now. Can this be done and is it legal. Do i need to inform ndvo about this change ? Landing anywhere except for Quebec is fine.
2) I know that i would be at ease if i take money as much as possible, however what is the minimum that i need to take along with me for total 3 persons. how to take money (can demanddraft in my name itself be taken?) Refer to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp ($18,260 for 3). Refer to the url for the answer to second part of your question as well.
3) What is the right time to go there , I am thinking of going around june/july so that i escape the sudden cold and the same time have some time to acclimatize and job search in summer will be easier. However i might not have time to equip myself the best. Do i equip myself the best by getting trainings certifications from here even if it takes a couple of months more and will near winter?
Also here are some additional questions If i was you, i would move there and access the Market situation. Then take a call on what certifications i would need to take up. Since most of the certifications are globally recognized.
4) Do i have to re-do medical before going to canada. I already sent the MR , they accepted it and got visa as well. Why do you want to take medicals again. It is not necessary and Immigration officers wont ask you.
5) They have talked about immunizations of some diseases kid, so should we the parents need to be immunized as well. We don't have certificate of immunization since it was done >30 yrs back. Do we need to be immunized ? I haven't come across this one till now but i am pretty sure you do not worry
6) What else (except passport and copr) do i need to take along with me or perform before departing to canada? I got my FBI PCC and it states that "A search of the fingerprints provided by this individual has revealed no prior arrest data at the FBI. This does not preclude further criminal history at the state or local level"

Is this normal wording of the FBI PCC ?
