NDVO shower's of PPR's hit us anytime... HI Guys,

Sorry for the delay. I got my passport stamped with the maple leaf this week. Till now it was a pursuit, now its time to face the reality. I am not expecting any smooth ride but I know something for sure, that I will succeed and so will all of you. We shall overcome!!!!

All the best to everybody, someone who is deciding to apply, someone waiting for any line updates and someone planning to move. Just be patient and never loose hope.

On the other note, is there a blog to get more information on the next steps:

1) Opening a bank account with scotia bank/ICICI/HSBC in India(MUMBAI) itself
2) Getting a drivers license certificate to be shown as proof in Ontario
3) Courses or credits to be pursued in finance and accounts
4) Basic checklist of items.Must have, good to have, not to take etc
5) Renting an apartment in Toronto

Your advise on the above is indeed appreciated.

is there anyone else who has done their medicals in end of Feb still waiting for 3rd line update?
(receipts sent on 11th march)

I did my medicals on January 24th and got 3rd line updated on March 16th

FOR NDVO
When you mail CSE(Case Specific Enquiry) for a status on you file as you dont see the 3rd line, chances are slim that they will repond.
Usually NDVO does not respong to CSE's. The same is used to only update file related changes.

You can alternatively send them an email however in that case too they are very selective in responding.
No specific TAT mentioned but it could take from 5 days to 30 days.

Below is the link you should go through (extract below from the same page)and still try your luck by mailing them.

If you already have an application at our office, we will answer your question only if our average processing time has been exceeded or if there is a problem. Otherwise, you should assume that your file is proceeding normally.

I got a response in 15 days...my 3rd line wasnt updated..they replied stating that medicals were received and it is in final stage..

And then in next 3 days 3rd line updated...so i guess NDVO replied. once can send both CSE and individual email

Are there folks who are done with medicals but sent or will be sending their FBI report later?

Anyone who has sent the FBI report separately and then got DM/PPR?

I had my medical received on Feb 17, have sent the FBI report on March 27th.

Yes..me...I did my medicals on jan 24th...sent out FBI report by February 9th and it was received by NDVO on february 18th

Medical update in ecas was on march 16th and DM was on march 25th..so ideally u wont get DM until all requested docs were received...

Got My PP back with the Maple Country VISA

-- Sry for late post.. was busy jumping around

PP request on 04th March
Submitted PP 10th March VFS Delhi
Back with VISA on 24th March.

Hopefully will land by end of May 2015.

Just saw that my 4th Line has been updated.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 14, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on February 2, 2015.

3. Medical results have been received. (Saw it on March 13, 2014)

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. (Just saw it)

Freakin hell, NDVO is in great hurry to clear it's backlog so that it can start working on EE files.
I was expecting delay of 2-3 months between my 3rd & 4th line update.

Thank God for this update, hoping processing of everyone's application speeds up, starting with May applicants as they have waited the most.

For those who have made their RPRF to lvo, please i need your help.
We have just made a payment via credit card but my consultant said she's afraid cc payments are not accepted since my application was not sent to VAC. For mailed-in application, only bank drafts or money order should be sent directly to lvo. Dont all applications sent from CIO,NS to LVO after PER considered "mailed in"? So that means no cc payment is accepted for all those files? Please shed some light on this. Thanks!
