Guys.. I think you can take only USD 3000 (u can calculate CAD accordingly) in cash as per RBI rule.

Ans. Travellers going to all countries other than (a) and (b) below are allowed to purchase foreign currency notes / coins only up to USD 3000. Balance amount can be carried in the form of travellers cheque or banker's draft. Exceptions to this are (a) travellers proceeding to Iraq and Libya who can draw foreign exchange in the form of foreign currency notes and coins not exceeding USD 5000 or its equivalent; (b) travellers proceeding to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Russian Federation and other Republics of Commonwealth of Independent States who can draw entire foreign exchange in the form of foreign currency notes or coins. For travellers proceeding to the Haj/Umrah pilgrimage, full amount of BTQ entitlement in cash or up to the cash limit specified by the Haj Committee of India, may be released by the ADs and FFMCs.

Yes I think so...lots of DMs no PPRs..Perhaps there is a huge pile-up of passports waiting to be stamped at NDVO...don't want to think other thoughts just yet.... :'(

GCMS is an extract. You will need to raise a grievance with CIC if you think the info there is not true or incorrect.

was never able to figure it out reason of delay, i got my gcms in late jan'15 dated 30-12-2014(day when req) got to know that they did not start processing on anything after file transfer.

will req. gcms again after i get VISA to know how process started.

I think the other day Diplo did suggest that this was nothing alarming and was normal. It's just that at which stage was the extract run.
Also, I think you have put a request for another GCMS extract. I would suggest you wait for it.
Don't worry and have faith.

Hello Friends,

My and my husband's FBI reports were mailed out on March 17th by FBI to the India address. My husband's FBI report came through today. Mine has not. I confirmed from FBI that both were mailed out on the same day. Is it a possibility that the reports dispatched on same date gets delivered on different dates? I am bit tensed that my package might have been lost.

I always check this forum first followed by application status page.
Same thing I followed today, 2nd line appeared.

I have submitted my passport on 2nd March with VFS, New Delhi and they were forwarded to NDVO on 3rd March. It's been 25 days now and I am still waiting for my passports back with visa stamping.

Please please help !!
I've submitted my passports to Vfs on 16-March with a cover letter that I am in india till 28-March (Saturday) and so requested to return passport early.
I've not received my passports back till now.
Is there any way to go to NDVO for that request and to issue my visa early as I cannot take much leaves from office now. I've already mailed them 2 times but no response from them.

Please pleasr help. I want to go to NDVO for some request for the same.

As per my observation of this forum.. Below are the list of NDVO applicants who received Decision Made between 20thMarch to 26March 2015 but still waiting for PPR, of-course I am one of them... May be NDVO shower's of PPR's hit us today... If any of below mentioned applicant received PPR ,, plz plz let all of us know.... and of-course candidate who got DM and not in the list can continue this chain...

How long NDVO takes to add child docs and send MR and PPR again for all 3?

Do anybody have idea?

Sending a fresh MR for the 3 of you will take around 45 days. PPR after that.
